Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.
2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!
5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!
Balthazar | Supernatural | New Arrival
It's the last thing Balthazar remembers before waking up on the boat. Assuring Castiel that, despite any betrayal, he would side with him. Followed by agony, and looking down to see his favourite brother's blade protruding through his chest, before darkness overtook him.
Then, suddenly, the boat. The boat that's airborne instead of floating on the water, and docking in a harbour on an airborne island. It's strange and if he didn't know better he might think that maybe this is just what happens to angels after they die.
Still, the island seems pleasant enough. The locals are helpful when it comes to his questions, and neither the map nor the device seem particularly complicated. Armed with both, Balthazar sets off to explore.

"Gabriel. It's good to see you." Maybe he should rethink this theory of angels coming here when they die. He grins. He never expected to see his favourite of all the archangels again; he can't pretend he isn't pleased. "What brings you here?"
no subject
Gabriel tilts his head a little, looking at Balthazar beyond the physical level. "You're from later than I am. About a year or so, I think?"
And he's glad to see you too, little brother. You're one of the fun ones, rather than one of the stuffy paper-pusher types.

The grin fades as he turns a bit more serious, studying Gabriel for a moment. "I would say that's about accurate, yes. Give or take a few months, perhaps."

Hence, Sam needing some time before little brother is an ass.

They'll have plenty of time to play catch up, after all, and a drink or several certainly isn't out of the question.
no subject
He doesn't promise there's a bar on every one, just most of them.
no subject
A few good drinks is probably the best suggestion Balthazar's heard at least since arriving on the boat.

If little brother was hoping to avoid this conversation, he picked the wrong words to do so.

He studies Gabriel for a long moment, before finally giving in with a sigh. No, this wasn't a conversation he wanted to have, especially not while sober. "Castiel. Castiel happened."

She does stop long enough to get her phone and her map before moving a few steps away from the people handing them out. She is tense, she knows that, and she is expecting an attack but she most certainly isn't expecting to see a familiar face. Or at least not the one she spies.
Not that she says anything at first. No, she just sort of moves into his peripheral vision as she frowns lightly and studies him.

"Anna. It's so good to see you." He gestures around vaguely, "Maybe this really is angels go after they die, hmm?"

Then she frowns. "After they...did Michael get you too?"

It hurts more than he really cares to think about - that it was his favourite brother who turned on him. He would have done almost anything for Castiel. Even the act of betraying him to the Winchesters was done primarily because the alternative may have meant all of their deaths. He still hopes the boys were successful, and Cas is safe.
"It looks like there were far worse places we could have ended up, though."
