Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

She blinked startled at that, then stepped closer. "What's wrong?" she asked. Given she is Trini, it was synonymous with "How can I help?"

Dillon looked confused at the reaction. Huh.

"Just a computer virus gaining sentience and razing the planet to the ground. Simple stuff like that."

[speaks_billy]

She blinked at him stunned a moment, then she smiled. "I think I know someone who can help." Her faith in her friends was tremendous and certain. what couldn't Billy do with a computer?

[seriesblack]

"No, you don't." He's not completely meaning to be so callous, sort of, but if Doc K has no shot against this thing, then no one does. Also, in a weird way, it pisses him off to hear someone assume they know someone who can help. Because if someone could help, why didn't they do it before his memories got wiped?

[speaks_billy]

She gave him an encouraging smile. "You never know until we try. If we try we might fail, and we might succeed, but if we never try, we will certainly fail. Let's find a way back to our worlds, then I'll get my friends and we'll come to yours and help."

Hi, can you tell she's from the '90s?

He stares

"So did they medically insert that optimism or...?"

[speaks_billy]

She gave him a grin, clearly thinking that was friendly teasing. "I try everything I think is worth doing, and I found that working together, we succeed more often than we fail. Who couldn't be optimistic seeing that? I'm sure we can help."

[seriesblack]

"So you got any plans for a post apocalyptic world?" He say no point in trying to soften the bloe about it. His world sucked

[speaks_billy]

"I'm sure we can come up with one once I know more about what happened," she said with confidence. "Once we both are on the same page with that, we can figure out how to fix things."

[seriesblack]

"A self aware, self growing computer virus downloaded itself to every computer. It made robotic armies. Took control of other armies. Made the world destroy itself. There's only one place left, and if you don't live there, you don't live."

Bitter? Only a lot.

[speaks_billy]

She rocked back on her heals slightly, to think. Without realizing it, one foot slipped back to leave her in a more comfortable stance if she had to move suddenly.

"Well, computers need to be plugged in, pull the plug and you stop the computer. What powers the robots?"

[seriesblack]

"That won't work anymore. He's self-sustaining. And, y'know, took all the power for himself." Because Vejix was quick, they'd give him that. "The city runs on back=up power and it doesn't always work. The levels of radiation outside..." He shrugs.

[speaks_billy]

"Well, when you have a computer plugged in, and a storm hits the house, they say on the news the computer could explode. If you can't cut off his electricity, what about overloading it?"

She wished Billy was there, for sure he'd have even better ideas.

[seriesblack]

"Tried. Just pissed him off." Dillon looks around. "Look, kid, i'm sure you've got great ideas for whatever stuff you face, but for this? You don't know."

[speaks_billy]

He didn't know half of what she had to face. "Well, if he's a virus, what about sending a program back at him? If you could reprogram him..." Oh... Billy would explain this better, but that would work, wouldn't it?

[seriesblack]

"Self aware." He repeats those two words with more than a hint of tiredness in his tone. He's checked the records, all this stuff has been done and did... Well, nothing.

[speaks_billy]

"Well, have you tried talking to him then?" she asked, a little frustrated. She immediately regretted her burst of temper, of course. "I'm sorry."

[seriesblack]

"He stole my memories and 'upgraded' me," Dillon's voice was cold. "Talking isn't what I've got in mind."

[speaks_billy]

"I'm sorry," she said, and this time it was a startled exclamation rather than a regretful statement. "He did what now?"

[seriesblack]

"Upgraded me." Dillon says the words slowly. "You know, add in some shiny metal parts." There's a lot of bitterness in his voice. "Add a virus so that anything that is human is slowly getting killed so he can take me over." He pauses, and then sarcastically: "Actually, you're right, we should just talk to him. I've got some great words to use."

[speaks_billy]

"We need to work on saving you then before we can work on fighting him! Why didn't you say that part first? How can we help?"

Oh, of all the times to not be able to reach Zordon!

[seriesblack]

"You can't." Dillon puts it bluntly. "Already had a super genius run all the scenarios. Either I die, or I get taken over," he shrugs.

[speaks_billy]

She tucked her hands behind her back when she realized she was fiddling with her communicator. She'd give just abut anything to be able to contact Zordon now.

"There has to be a way, and we'll find it," she promised. "I won't give up hope, and I won't let you give up hope either."

[seriesblack]

"Unless you're the one who created Venjix, you've not got a chance." There was a bit of spite in his tone, and he wouldn't apologise for it. "As Doc K would say, we don't deal in metaphysical concepts like hope."

[speaks_billy]

"If I don't try, I have no chance. Hope i real, and it has tangible results. It's why we try and fight and that is how we win and succeed. Where would we be if the Power Rangers ever lost hope? They keep fighting, and they show us that we can keep fighting too!"
