Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Dillon rolls his eyes. "Do what you like."

[speaks_billy]

"It would only be polite to let you go first, of course."

[seriesblack]

Dillon smirks in response

"Ladies first."

[speaks_billy]

She grinned back, though there was a bit more tooth bearing than her usual smile. "Together, then?"

[seriesblack]

"No."

No one said he had to play nice.

[speaks_billy]

Really? You have to realize that she's wondering if you stole that morpher somehow. "Why not?"

[seriesblack]

"Because I don't have to, I'm not worried if I can't connect," he is but he's not going to tell her that, "and because I'm not going to play your little game."

[speaks_billy]

"It's not a game." But it was quickly becoming a concern. She REALLY wished she could reach Zordon....

[seriesblack]

"Yeah? 'Cause you're not really subtle about the whole don't think I'm a ranger, thing." He shakes his head. "More people with access to the right tech than your... Zordork or whatever."

[speaks_billy]

"Zordon," she said, a bit angrily. "And Zordon created the Power Rangers. He's the one we all listen to!" Wow, she was angry now, and she wasn't sure quite why she was this angry. "If you stole that morpher just hand it over now and we can both walk away, but if you're working for Rita, you're going to answer to me!"

"Doc K created the team I'm on," Dillon says. "Don't know who Rita is, and I didn't steal the damn morpher." He crosses his arms.

[speaks_billy]

"Then Morph if you can, and then I will and show you I can too, and then we will figure this out." She wouldn't back down. Something was wrong here. Very wrong.

"I'm not morphing to try to prove something to some kid." Plus, if they were disconnected from that field, his morpher had only so much charge. Using the morph when it wasn't needed was just a waste of the energy.

Also, six story fireball.

[speaks_billy]

"I'm not some kid," she said, eyes narrowed slightly.

She never had to worry about hers running out, so long as she could reach the morphing grid, she was fine. And if she couldn't... they were in all sorts of trouble..

"Yeah," he said, "you are."

[speaks_billy]

Since saying "No, I'm Trini Kwan, Yellow Ranger," would be a stupid thing, she didn't. It was a close miss though. She pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes. "I'm no more a kid than you are an old man," she said, flatly.

[seriesblack]

"I don't know how old I am." Dillon points out. "Got no memories of anything like that. Just the metal."

[speaks_billy]

And like that she was back to wanting to help. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Ranger or not, we will help you," she told him. And she did mean it. Just because he might be an enemy was no reason to leave him to suffer.

[seriesblack]

Dillon just gives a look, and moves so that her hand will drop off his shoulder.

"Yeah, no."

[speaks_billy]

"I'm serious. We won't leave you to suffer. We will help you, and your world. That's what Zordon created the Rangers for." Sort of. More or less. Okay, so it is a lose interpretation

[seriesblack]

"Yeah? We were created as the last stand for humanity." There's a scoff. "Nice to see your guy's got his priorities."

[speaks_billy]

"Helping others, protecting, and defeating evil?" She grinned a bit. "I say those are some pretty good priorities."

[seriesblack]

"Keeping people alive long enough to think there might be a chance for a future." He counters. He's just sort of ... done with how optimistic this kid is.

[speaks_billy]

"Of course we're going to do that. We're going to help your world's Rangers kick butt on the bad guys so that you can all be safe and free."

Too bad, she isn't done being optimistic. She's from the 90s. The deflating of 80s hair gave way to endless optimism and after school specials. And way too many leotards and leggings.

Kick butt on the bad guys. Wow. Optimistic to the nth degree.
