Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

And like that she was back to wanting to help. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Ranger or not, we will help you," she told him. And she did mean it. Just because he might be an enemy was no reason to leave him to suffer.

Dillon just gives a look, and moves so that her hand will drop off his shoulder.

"Yeah, no."

[speaks_billy]

"I'm serious. We won't leave you to suffer. We will help you, and your world. That's what Zordon created the Rangers for." Sort of. More or less. Okay, so it is a lose interpretation

"Yeah? We were created as the last stand for humanity." There's a scoff. "Nice to see your guy's got his priorities."

[speaks_billy]

"Helping others, protecting, and defeating evil?" She grinned a bit. "I say those are some pretty good priorities."

[seriesblack]

"Keeping people alive long enough to think there might be a chance for a future." He counters. He's just sort of ... done with how optimistic this kid is.

[speaks_billy]

"Of course we're going to do that. We're going to help your world's Rangers kick butt on the bad guys so that you can all be safe and free."

Too bad, she isn't done being optimistic. She's from the 90s. The deflating of 80s hair gave way to endless optimism and after school specials. And way too many leotards and leggings.

Kick butt on the bad guys. Wow. Optimistic to the nth degree.

"...Good luck with that."

[speaks_billy]

"Thank you." Yes, she took that seriously.

[seriesblack]

He gives a look, clearly not caring at this point. Let the kid try. She'll end up realizing what they all did

[speaks_billy]

"But first we have to get you sorted, and then figure out how to get out of here. Come on, I'm sure we can find a clinic that can get us started on helping you."

[seriesblack]

"If someone who was taken by the government because they're a serious genius can't fix me, I really doubt any clinic can." Dillon remarked.

[speaks_billy]

"It is a place to start, and if they never see you they have no chance at all."

[seriesblack]

"They have no chance." That optimism thing got irritating real quick

[speaks_billy]

"Only if they are never allowed to try."

[seriesblack]

"The first they'll want to do is take the metal out." Because they did want to do that at the prison. "They can't."

[speaks_billy]

"Why not? Don't you want it out?"

[seriesblack]

"It's all through my system." Yeah, that's not an answer, but screw it. "Take it out. I'm dead."

[speaks_billy]

"Then we wont let them do that. The clinic is there to help people, not kill them. I won't let anyone kill you." Friend or foe, no one should be hurt like that by someone there to help him.

[seriesblack]

Dillon just stared. What was it with people in yellow wanting to help him?

[speaks_billy]

"..Alright?"

[seriesblack]

"Do you have to practice that immense hope thing?"

[speaks_billy]

"I've just seen my hope come true so often because I was willing to work for it, that I've learned to trust it. I'll help you, we all will. You'll see."

She never thought of hope as a thing that took practice.

There's another stare before he just shakes his head. Yeah, he can't.

[speaks_billy]

"If you give up on hope, of course you can't find any, but hope is like the rain. Even if you hide indoors all the time, eventually it will find you, so go on out and dance in it."
