Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Of course not. Zordon provides all Power Ranger technology. Well, Zordon and Billy."

Dillon has a blank expression.

"What's a Zordon?"

Sorry this reply took so long.

[speaks_billy]

Now she was just staring at him. Was she wrong. Was he not a Ranger? This could be bad. "Zordon. He's... Zordon..." she said studying him. Rita knew all about Zordon of course, so she wasn't sure why she was hesitating to elaborate. But... something felt wrong here. Something felt off. Really off.

"Never heard of him." He touches the morpher inside his pocket, as if reassuring himself it's there. It's sort of odd - he didn't really want to be a Ranger, but the morpher being there is a weird sort of comfort thing.

[speaks_billy]

"Ho...how...?" yeah. This part confused her. She was so on board with everything else, this threw her. Then she frowned and looked at her morpher. "If you don't... I can't..." she looked at him. "Can we even access the morphing grid here?" Can they morph at all?

[seriesblack]

"That bio-electric field thing?" Dillon hadn't heard it referred to as the morphing grid - probably because Dr K didn't call it that. "Probably? It surrounds most planets and the morpher can just sort of tap into it."

[speaks_billy]

"But this hardly seems to be most planets." In her admittedly limited experience.

[seriesblack]

"Just going with what the Doc said," he shrugged. He never really put much thought into it. Also when he morphed there was a six story fire-ball behind him. Maybe not something he's going to do any time soon

[speaks_billy]

"Maybe we should try it... to be sure we can before we wind up in serious trouble."

[seriesblack]

Dillon rolls his eyes. "Do what you like."

[speaks_billy]

"It would only be polite to let you go first, of course."

[seriesblack]

Dillon smirks in response

"Ladies first."

[speaks_billy]

She grinned back, though there was a bit more tooth bearing than her usual smile. "Together, then?"

[seriesblack]

"No."

No one said he had to play nice.

[speaks_billy]

Really? You have to realize that she's wondering if you stole that morpher somehow. "Why not?"

[seriesblack]

"Because I don't have to, I'm not worried if I can't connect," he is but he's not going to tell her that, "and because I'm not going to play your little game."

[speaks_billy]

"It's not a game." But it was quickly becoming a concern. She REALLY wished she could reach Zordon....

[seriesblack]

"Yeah? 'Cause you're not really subtle about the whole don't think I'm a ranger, thing." He shakes his head. "More people with access to the right tech than your... Zordork or whatever."

[speaks_billy]

"Zordon," she said, a bit angrily. "And Zordon created the Power Rangers. He's the one we all listen to!" Wow, she was angry now, and she wasn't sure quite why she was this angry. "If you stole that morpher just hand it over now and we can both walk away, but if you're working for Rita, you're going to answer to me!"

[seriesblack]

"Doc K created the team I'm on," Dillon says. "Don't know who Rita is, and I didn't steal the damn morpher." He crosses his arms.

[speaks_billy]

"Then Morph if you can, and then I will and show you I can too, and then we will figure this out." She wouldn't back down. Something was wrong here. Very wrong.

[seriesblack]

"I'm not morphing to try to prove something to some kid." Plus, if they were disconnected from that field, his morpher had only so much charge. Using the morph when it wasn't needed was just a waste of the energy.

Also, six story fireball.

[speaks_billy]

"I'm not some kid," she said, eyes narrowed slightly.

She never had to worry about hers running out, so long as she could reach the morphing grid, she was fine. And if she couldn't... they were in all sorts of trouble..

"Yeah," he said, "you are."

[speaks_billy]

Since saying "No, I'm Trini Kwan, Yellow Ranger," would be a stupid thing, she didn't. It was a close miss though. She pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes. "I'm no more a kid than you are an old man," she said, flatly.
