Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

He didn't know half of what she had to face. "Well, if he's a virus, what about sending a program back at him? If you could reprogram him..." Oh... Billy would explain this better, but that would work, wouldn't it?

[seriesblack]

"Self aware." He repeats those two words with more than a hint of tiredness in his tone. He's checked the records, all this stuff has been done and did... Well, nothing.

[speaks_billy]

"Well, have you tried talking to him then?" she asked, a little frustrated. She immediately regretted her burst of temper, of course. "I'm sorry."

[seriesblack]

"He stole my memories and 'upgraded' me," Dillon's voice was cold. "Talking isn't what I've got in mind."

[speaks_billy]

"I'm sorry," she said, and this time it was a startled exclamation rather than a regretful statement. "He did what now?"

[seriesblack]

"Upgraded me." Dillon says the words slowly. "You know, add in some shiny metal parts." There's a lot of bitterness in his voice. "Add a virus so that anything that is human is slowly getting killed so he can take me over." He pauses, and then sarcastically: "Actually, you're right, we should just talk to him. I've got some great words to use."

[speaks_billy]

"We need to work on saving you then before we can work on fighting him! Why didn't you say that part first? How can we help?"

Oh, of all the times to not be able to reach Zordon!

[seriesblack]

"You can't." Dillon puts it bluntly. "Already had a super genius run all the scenarios. Either I die, or I get taken over," he shrugs.

[speaks_billy]

She tucked her hands behind her back when she realized she was fiddling with her communicator. She'd give just abut anything to be able to contact Zordon now.

"There has to be a way, and we'll find it," she promised. "I won't give up hope, and I won't let you give up hope either."

[seriesblack]

"Unless you're the one who created Venjix, you've not got a chance." There was a bit of spite in his tone, and he wouldn't apologise for it. "As Doc K would say, we don't deal in metaphysical concepts like hope."

[speaks_billy]

"If I don't try, I have no chance. Hope i real, and it has tangible results. It's why we try and fight and that is how we win and succeed. Where would we be if the Power Rangers ever lost hope? They keep fighting, and they show us that we can keep fighting too!"

[seriesblack]

"Kid, don't talk to me about Power Rangers, I know what we do," Dillon says. "We deal in the reality and right now our reality is that the guy is progressing faster than we can."

[speaks_billy]

".......WE?" she asked, arching a brow. We? Whoever this guy was he, so wasn't a Power Ranger. No Power Ranger would ever admit being a Power Ranger. And Zordon wouldn't add anyone to the team without talking to them. Right? RIGHT?

[seriesblack]

"The Rangers. The team I'm on. Well," he stops, digging his hand inside his jacket to see, "it's more of a work release thing with the prison but yeah, I'm on the team. In the covert spandex that isn't spandex."

[speaks_billy]

"You.... are saying you're a Power Ranger? No way." She shook her head, there was no way she was believing that.

[seriesblack]

"That's what they call it," Dillon rolled his eyes. Yeah, he wouldn't believe it of him either.

[speaks_billy]

She crossed her arms, leaning back on her heels. "Now this I have to see," she said, dryly.

[seriesblack]

Dillon brought out the morpher from his inside pocket. He just held it up.

"Morpher."

[speaks_billy]

No... No freaking way. he eyed him warily. "How did you get that?" she asked, on her guard now. What was going on here?

[seriesblack]

"Doc K," he replied simply, putting it away again. "Part of the deal. I play Ranger, I don't have to stay in prison."

[speaks_billy]

"This... this makes no sense." Who in the world was Doc K, and why was Zordon allowing him to give out morphers. And why to people in prison? Next thing you know Bulk and Skull would be... no. Bad mental image. Gross. Out, now.

[seriesblack]

"Because it doesn't fit with your 'hope fixes all' stuff?" Dillon rolls his eyes. "The world's a lot darker than that."

[speaks_billy]

Saying "Because Zordon would never take someone like you to be a Power Ranger" is way too mean and not at all her, she bit back the words. But there was no way this person was a Ranger. He couldn't be. She knew Zordon's rules, but she found her hand in her pocket, closing around her own morpher.

"I... thought that the Rangers would be more secretive about their identities," she said instead.

[seriesblack]

"Only one city left in the world, and it's getting attacked daily," Dillon shrugged. "It's better for the people to know who's looking out for them, apparently."

[speaks_billy]

Her hand closed tighter around her morpher as she nodded. "We're going to help you. You and your world. I promise you that." She pulled her Morpher out and showed it to him. "My word... as a Power Ranger."

Because if he was one, he was family, and Rangers don't keep secrets from other Rangers.
