Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!

"I have her look," Sansa confirms. "Most think me my mother made over. There is little of House Stark in me. I'm all Tully. So was Robb."

Her heart sinks to think of Robb, of Bran, of Rickon. So much of her family is gone now just because of a few stupid mistakes.

"Arya has the look of House Stark, just like my bastard brother Jon."

"You have the temper of a wolf. I can't imagine a Tully biting back the way you do." Despite Sansa's claim, Lyanna would not relinquish the Stark blood in the girl. She needed her niece, she needed a piece of her brother at her side.

That earned a look of amazement. "A bastard? Ned had a bastard? No. That can't be true. He had to persuade Brandon to ask a woman to dance with him, he was too afraid to ask himself. I can't imagine him taking a woman to bed who was not his wife."

"He brought Jon back to Winterfell after the war. My lady mother had already had my brother Robb. They are but a few moons apart."

Sansa frowns a bit, working it out. "It doesn't make sense, I know. Father loved Mother more than anything. Nobody knows who Jon's mother is. Nobody would ever say."

"Ned was always honorable. When he was a child, if he did something wrong, he would often confess to it. He never lied and always spoke plainly." She had loved him for that, even when he told her things she didn't want to hear. "I can't imagine him taking a woman that wasn't his wife."

Not unless this woman was extremely beautiful and she had taken his heart completely. But even then...Ned wasn't like Brandon. Not in that way.

"He never had a lady when last I saw him."

It is strange to think of her father like this but Sansa tries to put that aside and focus instead on Jon.

"Well, he said Jon was his son. My father wouldn't lie. And he brought Jon to Winterfell with all of us and...even though it hurt my mother, he wouldn't send Jon away."

"Tell me about Jon." He must have been precious to Ned, if he would risk shaming his wife in such a way. Robert, she could imagine him acting in that manner. He had one bastard at the time of their betrothal. He could have had many more and brought them all into his household.

"You say that he does not resemble you?"

Sansa shakes her head. "No, he hasn't got my look, I look like my mother. He looks like the Starks. Whoever his mother was, she didn't leave much of herself in him. He looks like my lord father or Uncle Benjen. Not like me."

"Was he similar to Ned in disposition? Was he stoic and honorable?" She smirked. "I imagine he had a terrible sense of humor. Ned was more often the butt of the joke, rather than being the one making it."

She chuckled sadly. "I told him once that he will have to have a pretty wife, for he will not otherwise bear pretty children."

"Oh, no, Jon is handsome," Sansa says, shaking her head. "All the girls love him in spite of him being a bastard. He is...was our father made over, though. He went to the Wall to join the Night's Watch years ago. I hear that he's been made Lord Commander now."

"I suppose that is a place that he will find acceptance. Being a brother, so I understand, allows all men to come together as equals." As close as they were to the Wall, there were numerous stories about the rangers and the monsters they protected Westeros from.

It was supposedly an adventure, but to Lyanna, it wasn't as exciting as being a knight. Benjen thought otherwise, but he had always enjoyed the stories about what was beyond the Wall.

"Were you close to him?"

Sansa shakes her head. "I was not. I was very childish about his not being my full brother and sought to remind him at every turn. I have grown up, you see, and I wish I could see him again. He is the only one of my family who still lives. I want...I want someone that is my flesh and blood to call my own again."

She smiles a bit, slightly embarrassed. "Although, now, I suppose I have my aunt."

"I understand that feeling, Sansa." More than she could express. In leaving her family behind to follow Rhaegar, she had to surrender those that mattered dearly to her. There had always been the possibility that she would never see her brothers again. In being here, that was a reality.

Finding her niece, as unexpected as it was, it eased that loneliness.

"You do. You are my blood. Your father was dearer to me than any man. I am glad for the chance to know his daughter and to call you mine."

"King Robert still loved you," Sansa says. "He thought you were stolen. When he came to Winterfell, when I was a little girl? The first thing he did was go to your crypt to pay his respects."

The words were painful, but still could not touch her heart. He offered her love so fervently and passionately, but that was no rare occurrence. According to rumor, he offered that to many women. Had she reciprocated, he would have tired of her in time. He wanted what he could not have.

"It is an unfortunate thing when someone loves you, but you cannot return it. Love is a sweet thing, but it cannot change a man's nature."

"Very little can," Sansa says, thinking of her own experience with men. Still, this was a side of the story she had never heard and she was eager to hear more.

"So Prince Rhaegar didn't force you to go with him? He married you? Why? The Seven don't allow a man to have more than one wife."

And Rhaegar had a wife, the princess.

"It is not unheard of for a Targaryen to take more than one wife. One for political reasons, another for love. I was fortunate to have my marriage held in the Northern traditions, which may allow more leniency than the Seven."

She smiled, "Rhaegar is too honorable to simply take a woman who is not his wife. He made it very clear that he would return to the old ways, all so he could have me."

Sansa isn't sure if it's romantic so much as lustful but she keeps that to herself. She hasn't met Rhaegar and already the story is different than what she's been told.

"At least he was kind to you," Sansa says quietly. "It would have been terrible if he had raped you as they all said."

"Your husband was not?" Lyanna asked gently. She had been the rare occurrence in their world. Daughters had little hope for anything more than simple respect for their husbands. Love, lust, none of it factored into their unions.

"Was the union of Ned's making?"

"Father was dead before I married the first time," Sansa explains.

"My first husband was very kind, Lord Tyrion Lannister. My second husband was Roose Bolton's bastard and he used me very ill. I fled from him in fear of my very life and wound up in this place by the grace of the gods."

"Tyrion Lannister? Was he the dwarf born to Tywin Lannister?" She had heard the rumors across Westeros. A monster child born to the Lannisters, the details about his appearance varying on who told the tale. Brandon would attempt to scare her at night, embellishing the child's deformities, making him close to the grumpkins beyond the Wall.

"I'm sorry. Who arranged this marriage? I can't imagine any from our family would choose such an unworthy man."

Sansa nods. "He was a dwarf but he was kind and intelligent and never forced me to do anything I did not wish to do. That marriage was arranged by the queen, as he was her brother. Lord Petyr Baelish arranged the second marriage. He said I could be lady of Winterfell."

The Lannisters and Baratheons. If Robert wanted to emerge triumphant from his rebellion, he would need a family like the Lannisters. They were duplicitous and calculating. It was better to somehow placate them than to face them on the battlefield.

"You should be Lady of Winterfell. It is your birthright! Petyr Baelish is nothing more than ward to the Riverlands!"

"Winterfell has been sacked. The Boltons are Wardens of the North now, not Starks. There have been no Starks in Winterfell for years now."

It hurts her to say this but it doesn't make it any less true, unfortunately.

She should have been numb to such things, but the words still struck as deep and sharp as those that came before. The wound bleeding fresh once again. "No matter what the Baratheon Kings might say, Winterfell is our home. The Starks will always be the wardens of the North."

Lyanna frowned, "It was Robert's son that turned against our family?"

"His bastard son," Sansa explains. "I suppose you wouldn't know this, they took pains to keep it a secret, but the queen's children are by her brother Jaime. Joffrey wasn't truly Robert's son except in name."

And, yet, Sansa thinks she saw some of the excesses of the king in his son.
