Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.
2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!
5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!

"Very little can," Sansa says, thinking of her own experience with men. Still, this was a side of the story she had never heard and she was eager to hear more.
"So Prince Rhaegar didn't force you to go with him? He married you? Why? The Seven don't allow a man to have more than one wife."
And Rhaegar had a wife, the princess.
no subject
She smiled, "Rhaegar is too honorable to simply take a woman who is not his wife. He made it very clear that he would return to the old ways, all so he could have me."
no subject
Sansa isn't sure if it's romantic so much as lustful but she keeps that to herself. She hasn't met Rhaegar and already the story is different than what she's been told.
"At least he was kind to you," Sansa says quietly. "It would have been terrible if he had raped you as they all said."
no subject
"Was the union of Ned's making?"
no subject
"Father was dead before I married the first time," Sansa explains.
"My first husband was very kind, Lord Tyrion Lannister. My second husband was Roose Bolton's bastard and he used me very ill. I fled from him in fear of my very life and wound up in this place by the grace of the gods."
no subject
"I'm sorry. Who arranged this marriage? I can't imagine any from our family would choose such an unworthy man."
no subject
Sansa nods. "He was a dwarf but he was kind and intelligent and never forced me to do anything I did not wish to do. That marriage was arranged by the queen, as he was her brother. Lord Petyr Baelish arranged the second marriage. He said I could be lady of Winterfell."
no subject
"You should be Lady of Winterfell. It is your birthright! Petyr Baelish is nothing more than ward to the Riverlands!"
no subject
"Winterfell has been sacked. The Boltons are Wardens of the North now, not Starks. There have been no Starks in Winterfell for years now."
It hurts her to say this but it doesn't make it any less true, unfortunately.
no subject
Lyanna frowned, "It was Robert's son that turned against our family?"
no subject
"His bastard son," Sansa explains. "I suppose you wouldn't know this, they took pains to keep it a secret, but the queen's children are by her brother Jaime. Joffrey wasn't truly Robert's son except in name."
And, yet, Sansa thinks she saw some of the excesses of the king in his son.
no subject
"Forgive me." She said, regaining her composure. "Robert seems to have terrible luck. Two women that have taken other men. I never thought Cersei Lannister would go against her family's will. The Lannisters seemed united in their house's interest, not their own."
no subject
Sansa sighs a bit. "Joffrey was a cruel little beast. I am not sad to know that he is dead and no longer here to terrify and terrorize me."
no subject
no subject
"Poisoned at his own wedding," Sansa says. She unwittingly had a hand in that, yes, but she won't take credit for it. She had only been a pawn in that particular game.
"I had been betrothed to him, once, though he set me aside once he had my father killed and they married me to his uncle, Tyrion. He married Margaery Tyrell but died before the bedding. Margaery will be married to Tommen, I imagine."
no subject
"It must have been heartbreaking for you to see your father murdered in such a way. Had Robert not seized the throne, perhaps Ned could have been spared?"
no subject
"I don't know," Sansa says. "I miss him, though. I miss him every single day. He thought...he thought that I was angry at him." Sansa feels so guilty about this, knowing that her father suffered because of her.
"He must have known that I loved him. I loved him so much."
no subject
It wasn't a gesture that she offered many, but Lyanna reached out, embracing her niece.
no subject
Sansa is too tall to hug anyone now, really, but she doesn't care. It just feels so good to be wrapped in the arms of someone who truly cares about her, someone who is a Stark and has the same wolf in her blood as Sansa has.
"I'm sorry I was so cross. It's just...men are cruel, Lyanna. I have always been told he stole you."
no subject
She sighed, "You have had little reason to think well of men."
no subject
"Men only want what advantage they can gain over women except, it seems, with my parents and your prince. Otherwise, I have no love for them."
And they, it seems, have had no love for her.
no subject
She smiled, "Sometimes, we are surprised by what the gods have in store."
no subject
Sansa shakes her head, a bit sad. "The Gods don't care about Starks anymore, Lyanna. There's hardly any of us left, just myself and Jon, and Jon's only half Stark to begin with. The Gods have made me a Lannister's bride, cloaked in crimson, and now a Bolton's bride complete with flayed skin."
There's a mark on the inside of her thigh where Ramsay had stripped the skin from her for giving him cheek. Sansa had given him more the next day; she's always been a slow learner.
no subject
It was a small comfort, but there had to be something to come from all of this.
no subject
"I am steel now, forged from snow," Sansa says, nodding once. She had once been a fool of a girl, full of stories and songs and now she's something wiser and sadder. Still, Tyrion had never been cruel to her and all things told, she is glad that he was her first husband and respected her the way he had.
"Lord Tyrion wasn't so terrible, as husbands go. He demanded nothing of me."
