Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!
5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

He started off in the direction of the clinic. Or at least the direction he thought the clinic was in, having not been here long. "I'm Trip," he said, introducing himself. "I'm guessing you're not a doctor." Or her reaction might have been different.

"Padmé Amidala, and you would guess correctly. I work as a teacher here, although I was a politician back home." Giving a little smile, as she knew what most people thought about politicians.
no subject
"I hope you're going to teach your students not to get too close to any of the statues." He grinned.

But he frowned upon hearing the statues hadn't trapped anyone else. "It was humming," he explained. "As if it had power coming from somewhere but I couldn't find where. I don't know if all of them do yet." Because examining this one hadn't convinced him to stay away from the statues.

Her lips did quiver ever so, as she couldn't really say anything about that. Padmé was more likely than not to do the exact same thing, and had done the exact same thing in the past. "I trust you'll be a bit more careful in the future, or should I follow you around and save you from any predicament that you find yourself in?"
Yet the whole statue humming thing did have her wondering. "Perhaps beneath it? I don't think that people have had time to study every inch of this place so far to uncover any secrets or mysteries that it might have."
no subject
"We need to find a way under them." Used to having a partner in crime he automatically included her. In case she wasn't up for it, he grinned at her. "You can always pull me out if I get stuck."
no subject
Although she clearly looked dubious as to that suggestion. It might be a bit too far under. Padmé did give him her best Senator look, although the lightness in her eyes breaks the complete effect. "Perhaps I would leave you there a second time to teach you a lesson."
no subject
Since they weren't far from the clinic now, he added, "It won't take long to patch me up, then we can try a storm drain, see where we get. What do you say?" He gave her a cheeky grin with puppy dog eyes that generally made it hard to say no to.
no subject
She laughed though. Perhaps not as bright or as easily as it had once been, but a true laugh anyway. "I suppose I should keep an eye on you. Lest you get stuck in a drain by yourself and waste away to nothingness."
no subject
"I'm sure I could find a way out of a drain if I had to." The fact that he'd needed help to get away from a statue was not the point. "But I definitely need keeping an eye on. Ask anyone back home and they'll tell you the same thing."

"I don't think there is anyone," he said, once they'd found seats in the waiting room. But he didn't sounds upset about it. "I don't know if I'd wish any of them here."
no subject
"This place does have a way of surprising you, in ways you would not even guess." Like having a son that was completely grown already. "But it should be easy enough to find out. The devices do reach everyone here, and so long as they check them, they will see that you are here if you make a message."
no subject
"I'm glad we met," he added, smiling.
no subject
Her laughter was soft, and so was her smile. "You may well have been stuck beneath that statue had we not. At least for a little while longer. Thankfully I know of who one who would do something so cruel as to point and laugh."
no subject
no subject
As fair was fair.
"Let us hope that there is someone, then, who will rescue all of you if you're all trapped."
no subject
It was probably just as well that this was the time when he is name was called, so he could get his shoulders seen to.
"We're going down a storm drain when I get back," he reminded her, grinning, and just daring her to leave.
no subject
Yet her focus shifted for a moment, before laughing at his quip. "How about we see what the prognosis is before you start putting the cart before the horse."
no subject
"I have two fully working shoulders and am ready for those storm drains," he said on his return to the waiting room, fully patched up. He didn't mention his plans to the medic who saw him and fortunately, the medic only mentioned not getting that close to a statue again. Which Trip had no intention of doing.
no subject
"And did you inform the doctor your desire to crawl around in storm drains hereafter?"

He offered his arm. "May I escort you to the drains?"
