Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!
5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"I don't think there is anyone," he said, once they'd found seats in the waiting room. But he didn't sounds upset about it. "I don't know if I'd wish any of them here."
no subject
"This place does have a way of surprising you, in ways you would not even guess." Like having a son that was completely grown already. "But it should be easy enough to find out. The devices do reach everyone here, and so long as they check them, they will see that you are here if you make a message."

"I'm glad we met," he added, smiling.

Her laughter was soft, and so was her smile. "You may well have been stuck beneath that statue had we not. At least for a little while longer. Thankfully I know of who one who would do something so cruel as to point and laugh."

As fair was fair.
"Let us hope that there is someone, then, who will rescue all of you if you're all trapped."

It was probably just as well that this was the time when he is name was called, so he could get his shoulders seen to.
"We're going down a storm drain when I get back," he reminded her, grinning, and just daring her to leave.

Yet her focus shifted for a moment, before laughing at his quip. "How about we see what the prognosis is before you start putting the cart before the horse."
no subject
"I have two fully working shoulders and am ready for those storm drains," he said on his return to the waiting room, fully patched up. He didn't mention his plans to the medic who saw him and fortunately, the medic only mentioned not getting that close to a statue again. Which Trip had no intention of doing.

"And did you inform the doctor your desire to crawl around in storm drains hereafter?"

He offered his arm. "May I escort you to the drains?"

"I haven't mapped out the whole place yet, so I will follow your lead." There was a definite twinkle in his eye as he gave her a small bow.
no subject
"I suppose I could lead you astray... Although that would hardly be polite." Yet she tilted her head a little. "It is a bit of a walk. Do let me know if your injuries trouble you in any way."
no subject
"If you lead me astray then I might not invite you along, next time I investigate something dangerous." He nearly managed to keep a straight face while he said it.

"Good idea," he said of the supplies suggestion. "I'll keep it in mind. But," he added, with a sly look sideways at her. "If you come with me next time I'll buy you cake after."

He grinned in victory. "Chocolate cake it is. I must bribe you more often."

He thought he could see the area they were headed into. "We should have brought a flashlight," he mused. But they had something nearly as good, and he let go of Padmé so he could pull his communicator and hyperspanner from his pockets. Surely he could make that bright enough to be useful.
no subject
"We probably should have, yes." Musing over that. "I suppose we'll see how bad it is, and perhaps go retrieve one if required."
