Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!
3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Jenny Fraser Murray | Outlander
She doesn't appear to have hurt herself anywhere, so that's a small blessing. She makes her way up the nearby stairs -- waddles, more like; she doesn't go anywhere in a hurry anymore -- and is surprised to find herself on the deck of a boat.
That is definitely not right.
There are docks in the distance, and people. Hopefully one of them can give her an answer. All she knows is that she's not where she should be, and she doesn't know where she is. Everyone else on board seems to be as confused as she is, at least, which means it's not likely that any of them are responsible for this.
But someone on shore must be, which means that somewhere on shore are the answers. All she can do right now is wait quietly, if not particularly patiently, until she arrives there. She stands at the rail, hands around her stomach, waiting. Ooch. This bairn could arrive tomorrow and she wouldn't complain.
As soon as the boat touches the dock, she's the first one stepping off the ship, needing to find an answer. She strides right up to the first person she sees, having no idea who's in charge around here. "I want to speak to whoever has brought me here. They cannae just take people from their home like that."

The voice is evenly measured as Data turns to the woman and nods, his look somewhat off, even in this new body.
he does, however, attempt a smile at her.

"Well have you looked everywhere?"

"THe oddest thing happened when I scaled the castle wall, seeking answers there. I stopped functioning, and regained consciousness in the starter home assigned to me. It was a very unpleasant experience."

Scottish accent, and eighteen century garb, and very much pregnant. Oh frag. And Claire had gone, or he would have had someone trustworthy to offer as a midwife.
"Ah, excuse me, ma'am? Hello. I'm not sure they even know why they've had an influx of new arrivals, either."
no subject
"How can they not know? If it's happening in their domain, they should know about it." She and Ian do. If strangers randomly appeared, they would want to know why.
no subject
"Would you like me to show you somewhere to sit down? I'm sure the bad news isn't helping."
no subject
Then she relents a little. But only a little. “Aye, I could do with finding someplace to sit.” If only she doesn’t feel like the shove of the crowd will knock her over.

It can't really be her. Can it?
...Holy Mother of God, it is.
He starts pushing his way through - he still manages to be taller than most people around, though his height isn't perhaps as impressive as it would be back home, comparatively speaking. Still, he manages to use it to his advantage.
"Jenny? Jenny!"
no subject
"I don't suppose you've got an answer either?"
no subject
"Not one that ye will like, I'm afraid," he admits. "But 'tis good to see ye again, all the same. How is Ian?"

"Well," says she of the bright blue hair and skintight jeans as she re-laces a shoe, "The people literally responsible might be difficult to get hands on, nobody knows who they are, but if you can find a way into that castle up there, feel free to interrogate away. As to that second bit, evidently they can since we're all here."
no subject
“The castle hasnae got a door? Is it necessary to find some other way in?”
no subject
"So unless you've got a magic key hidden somewhere in all that dress we're right back at square one. But on the bright side there's no physical harm involved in this place." Yet.
no subject
"There must be someone who can get through a locked door." Especially if it might have answers on the other side.

It has kept her busy, between work and learning, and other endeavors. She has been on the main island, and has finished up her shift for the day. With no pressing issues that had kept her, Claire had set out, intent on her destination, until there is a voice. It is familiar, and it does make Claire come to a complete stop. For a moment, she stands there, before it registers. Yes. Yes, it is. And pregnant. Very, very pregnant.
"Who actually ever lays claim to that, has not actually announced their role in any of this."
no subject
She's not sure Claire's presence helps here, either. She can't even say that it's not the English who are behind this, because she gets the impression that Claire's not on good standing with them either.
Is she just supposed to go along with this?
"It matters not to them that some of us have families or obligations, I suppose."
no subject
"You would suppose correctly. Whatever their desire is, they do not make it known. All simply arrive by the same method and are deposited at the same destination." She has watched the ships sometimes, seeing them dock and watched as new individuals came out.

His Cajun accent flowed smoothly, and he swept her a grinning bow. "But perhaps a Cajun can help the pretty lady?" His bright red-on-black eyes shone in amusement.

he glanced around, then back at the boats, pointing. "I tried to sneak onto a boat, and managed, once, but when the boat got a certain way out, I was suddenly unconscious, and woke up in the house they gave me. Then, I tried to scale the castle, and ended up finding the same thing. Get to the top, unconsciousness ending with me back at my house."
he shrugged. "So far, I can' tell if there's another way out. None of the natives seem to know a thing, and the people from other worlds seem as clueless as me."

She notes quickly how strangely Jenny is dressed.
"Where are you from?" Senjougahara asks. Or tries to, that is. The fact that she was speaking Japanese would probably be a bit of a barrier.
