Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Noriko doesn't stand up, but looks up at the approach of a woman who looks less than pleased. (Don't they all.)

"Well," says she of the bright blue hair and skintight jeans as she re-laces a shoe, "The people literally responsible might be difficult to get hands on, nobody knows who they are, but if you can find a way into that castle up there, feel free to interrogate away. As to that second bit, evidently they can since we're all here."

Well isn’t this a sight.  Someone who appears to be female, though dressed only in leggings and a shirt no respectable man would wear out of the house (at least, he wouldn’t if his wife has any sense).  She just raises an eyebrow, for now, but she may have more to say on the matter later.

“The castle hasnae got a door?  Is it necessary to find some other way in?”

"Sure it does, but it's locked," she says, standing up and brushing her knees off, utterly unashamed that she's baring most of her midriff between the cropped tee shirt and the low-rise jeans. Loads of people have given her those eyebrowed looks and comments over her clothes over the years.

"So unless you've got a magic key hidden somewhere in all that dress we're right back at square one. But on the bright side there's no physical harm involved in this place." Yet.

"I can hide a lot in my dress, including that which I hadna ought to let those who are not my husband see." Nori not caring is not enough to get Jenny to drop it.

"There must be someone who can get through a locked door." Especially if it might have answers on the other side.

"I'm happily unmarried," says Noriko with a dry but wide smile. "So I'm free for all lookers, essentially."

"What sort of husband do you think you'll catch if you walk around showing it all off, then?" Women who walk around like that where she's from usually don't even have a husband, and that's not a good thing.

"The kind that likes what I look like naked, I can only assume," she says lightly. "Why should I be worried about that?"

"If he's gawkin' at that all the time, how's he going to have any attention left for yer mind?" Which really is more important than any of the rest of it.

"Oh, I'm pretty sure he couldn't get away from it," she says. "It's not like I'm the quiet type. He's already helping me engineer."

No, that's not smug at all. "Besides, refractory periods being what they are, men can't be horny all the time."

"That's true. They do have to sleep sometimes." Otherwise they seem to have that sort of thing on the mind quite often.

"Do ye mean to say ye already have a future husband?"

Noriko snorts. "Shit no. I just have a guy who wants to sleep with me and thinks I'm interesting."

She'll take it. "Is your husband that perpetually horny?"

"He doesna mind every man in this place seeing all of that?"

She doesn't quite understand that question. "Of course he's not. He has other things to do."

"Apparently not, he hasn't said anything to that effect," Nori replies.

"Anyone I choose to be entangled with should have the mental facility to both enjoy my body--which I work hard on, thank you--and my mind. If he can't, clearly it's his failing. So how much of me I show off really doesn't come into it."
