Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!
3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Elsa - Once Upon a Time
Elsa tried to communicate with the people on the floating ship. How did she get here? Were the Southern Isles involved? Where was Anna? But no one would respond to her. She could feel frost begin to develop at her palms and fingertips and breathed through it. No need to send a snowstorm through and send the ship crashing down from the sky. She kept her patience and tried to stop herself from pacing amidst all of the others that were on board.
When they finally docked, she practically flew off the boat only to be confronted by the people waiting for them. Again, the Queen tried her best to be polite as she was surrounded and tried to ask them: where were they? What was this place? Where was her sister? She needed to get back to Arendelle. How could she--
But they kept brushing her off. They pushed things into her hand. Elsa grasped them but she tried to push more and more for the locals to talk to her. Maybe someone else on the ship would know or perhaps someone else in town. She followed along the docks and called out to someone, anyone.
"Excuse me!"

Hearing someone calling out, he turned. She looked confused. Anxious. The fifteen year old demigod stopped, and walked over to her.
"You look new." Will said with sympathy.
no subject
"New?" she asked. Her brows knitted a little. What did he mean by that? Elsa shook her head. "Never mind. I need to get back to Arendelle. When is the next ship to depart from this place?"
The boy looked young. Perhaps he was a dock hand? Elsa looked him over. He looked a little...strange. There was something about him that she couldn't exactly shake off. Something off.
no subject
she was looking at him. Did he have something between his teeth? He looked at his usual outfit of shorts, surgical scrub top and flip flops.
"I'm Will."

He could sense boats coming in and people arriving. He popped his head out of the water and hoisted up to watch.
"Hi," he greeted the woman with a friendly wave. As if popping out out of the ocean yet being completely dry was not going to be weird. First impressions and all that.
no subject
The greeting caught her off guard since everyone else was ignoring her. Elsa turned to see the boy up on the docks. Her brow knitted a little. Wait, wasn't he the boy she saw in the water as they were docking? Nevermind, not important at the moment. She moved her dress out of the way so that she could turn toward the docks and walk toward him.
"Where is this place? When is the next boat departing? There must have been some mistake. I need to be on your next ship to Arendelle right away."

Hello, Queen Elsa. Have Queen Cassidy!
When someone called out, she turned and smiled, braid flying as she spun, hazel eyes warm and friendly as she walked closer. She wasn't pretty, she wasn't beautiful, but she was kind and it showed in her eyes.
"Greetings, Sister," she said formally, offering her hands, palms up. This woman... could be a sister to Lady Karla with that hair, those eyes. And there was a sense of power about her, a strong psychic scent, but nothing she could pin down. Something about this place made it hard for her to sense caste and strength.
Re: Hello, Queen Elsa. Have Queen Cassidy!
Elsa looked at her. Well. This one seemed kind and was approaching her with her arms set in a more welcoming position. But she called her sister. The Queen stayed where she stood, just in case.
"Sister? You're not my sister."
Red hair, yes. Kind and pretty looking, yes. But Anna had a completely different approach to people. For instance, invading their personal space in a time span less than three seconds. To be fair, Olaf did the same. She had to keep herself from raising her arms in a more defensive stance.
"Who are you?"

He instead opts to raise an eyebrow at her instead. "Yes? You're a newbie who wants to know how to get home, I take it?"
Of course she is. He's never seen her before and she's at the docks. Looks like today's a wash for looking for people from home.
no subject
Finally! Someone who knew what she was looking for. Immediately, Elsa walked over, feeling relieved that someone was willing to give her information on how to return home.
"Yes. When is your next ship leaving?"

She let out a very unDisney like expletive.
"Cusser!" she snapped. She liked having Cusser around to do her swearing for her, but the small robot failed to appear. She swore again, then heard the woman. She turned to face her and just.... stared. No.... She'd know if she had a sister.... Dane looked so long for the lost Princess, he'd have discovered if she had a sister....

Elsa turned again to see if anyone else from the boats could help her and stopped in her tracks when she saw...herself? The ice Queen walked over to her. She looked so similar yet more like a portrait, or drawing rather than a person. But the braid was the same. The gown was...eerily similar.
Her mannerisms, however, could not be any less fit for a Queen.
So, she, too, stared. How was this possible? Did she have ice powers too?

CR AU. So if you know the character, he's not exactly canon
He finally dropped down, feeling better. He leaned against his walking stick and looked around. When he heard her, he limped over. "You're excused," he said with a warm smile, a flicker of white fire moving across his bright red hair before fading out.

"How did you do that?" she asked. Fire magic? Was there a such thing?

MWA HA HA HA HA HA
"Fly, my little Akuma, let us grant her the power to be heard...."
The small butterfly would land on one of her hair clips, and she'd feel an increase in her negative emotions and impulses as she would hear a male voice whispering in her mind.
"Le Glace, I am Papillon. No one is listening to you, they're ignoring you. They are fools. I can give you the power to make them listen." Though he sensed...an odd power in her already. Oh what an Akuma she would make for him... "All I ask is one small favor when the time comes."
no subject
"Who are you?" she asked the voice. Elsa looked around to find the source of it. "Get out of my head. Show yourself."

"Elsa, hey." He smiled, trying to be friendly and not overwhelm her. "You okay?"
no subject
"Henry!"
She quickly walked over and hugged him, glad to see a familiar face. Elsa pulled back, smiling. If Henry was here, then Emma would not be far off. And as Savior, she should be able to undo the kidnapping and send them all home somehow, right?
"Henry, where is your mother?"

But really it's because she's hoping that one day one of those new arrivals will be someone she knows. It's ironic, she had just decided to stay in Storybrooke where her family is, to make it her home, and then was brought here without any of them.
But here's someone she recognizes, even if she doesn't know her well yet.
"Elsa?"
no subject
Immediately, she rushed over and hugged her. Prickly as she was, she had come to trust Emma with things, especially considering all that they had gone through: reuniting her with her sister, sending her back home, helping Ingrid find peace.
"I'm so glad to see you! Is this another part of Storybrooke?"

Rue's face contorted into an annoyed sneer, looking around and considering his possibilities. Finding refuge amongst these people. No doubt he'd be forced to work. He'd starve to death. Maybe he should just keep lying down, make it easier. He put a hand to his forehead, dramatically and giggled a little.
Pushing himself up, his white blonde hair teased around him like a lion's mane. He went right after Elsa.
"I don't suppose you know where we are?"
no subject
"Oh! Uh, I just arrived myself so I don't know where we are. I've been trying to see if I can get directions from someone. Or, at least, get myself on a boat back to Arendelle. There must have been a mix up of some sort."

The greeters spoke English, which she was hardly fluent in, but it was at least good it was a language she recognized, considering they were on a flying island.
She followed Elsa at a slight distance, anxious to hear if she got anything out of that new person she was following, hoping to eavesdrop on any information that was unearthed.
