Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"How did you not know about it until you were eleven?" she asked. She looked around then finally sat down next to him. "I've always known. We tried to conceal it when I was younger. For the protection of my family." she offered.

[waterproofed]

"Well, I didn't know for protection reasons, too," Percy told her. "My mom wanted me to have a normal life for as long as possible. We try to conceal our powers too, when we can, but it's not always easy. I hope not too many bad guys went after your family."

[ladenga]

She was quiet for a while.

"Not so much. There was a suitor that didn't work out well with us. My sister's suitor. That's...kind of a long story."

But it was nice to be with someone that felt the same she did and experienced as she did.

"Do you mean it? That time will not have passed when we are returned home?"

[waterproofed]

"Well, that doesn't sound too bad." He gave her an encouraging smile. As bad as Smelly Gabe was, he was probably the least bad thing he and his mother ever dealt with.

"Yeah, some guy who was home for a while told me. His name's Jamie if you want to talk to him yourself. He works at the stables."

[ladenga]

"Well, he did try to kill my sister. And me. A few times."

She noted Jamie. A stable boy. She could talk to a stable boy. It would be something familiar.

"So it is possible to go home. But it sounds like he was returned here?"

[waterproofed]

"Good news is nobody's tried to kill me or any of my friends yet, so that's something for you to look forward to." Yeah, Percy didn't even bat an eye when it came to talking about attempted murder. Sadly, that sort of thing just came with the territory.

"Apparently the whole coming and going thing is totally against our will. Which isn't to say you shouldn't try, but... you know. Don't get discouraged if you can't figure it out."

She drew her knees up and held them a little, a bit of frost appearing on the dock they were sitting on and down the posts a little.

"I...it's just--my sister's newly married and I want her to enjoy her time with her new husband and I have a kingdom to run and--"

[waterproofed]

Percy noticed the frost and touched it with his fingers. He could probably melt it for her-- it'd be easy after breaking apart a glacier. Instead he turned his attention on her.

"Hey, relax. Breathe. I know how you're feeling. Not about the kingdom thing, but I want to be back home so I can be there when my sister is born. I bet a lot of people here have people they're worried about." He gave her what he hoped was an assuring squeeze of her shoulder.

"We'll find a way out. It may take a while, but we will."

[ladenga]

She took a deep breath and gave an awkward smile. The squeeze was strange but comforting all the same.

"You're to have a sister? And...and will your sister have powers as well?" she asked.

[waterproofed]

"Nope. She's going to be, uh, non-powered." He wasn't sure what word to use that the woman would understand. "I inherited my power from my dad, and her dad is a different guy."
