Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

She had just been stepping off one of the other boats herself, and looked around, scowling. No Dane. No idiot 'bots. She... could do this. She could do this. She patted herself down...still in her formal gown. Which meant... no tools.

She let out a very unDisney like expletive.

"Cusser!" she snapped. She liked having Cusser around to do her swearing for her, but the small robot failed to appear. She swore again, then heard the woman. She turned to face her and just.... stared. No.... She'd know if she had a sister.... Dane looked so long for the lost Princess, he'd have discovered if she had a sister....

Elsa turned again to see if anyone else from the boats could help her and stopped in her tracks when she saw...herself? The ice Queen walked over to her. She looked so similar yet more like a portrait, or drawing rather than a person. But the braid was the same. The gown was...eerily similar.

Her mannerisms, however, could not be any less fit for a Queen.

So, she, too, stared. How was this possible? Did she have ice powers too?

"Who....?" she asked. No, Essie, wrong question. A name would tell her almost nothing. She had a brain, she needed to use it now. "How is this possible, are you also a Princess?" How much had she missed in her mother's notes? What... had her step mother done. Now she regretted not questioning her before killing her.

About killing her father's deaths, her only complaint on timing was that it hadn't come sooner. She needed to burn off some of this frustration and confusion. As soon as she dealt with whatever this was, princess or not, she needed to find a good cage fight, earn some credits, so she could get something to stitch. Work the body to exhaustion, then the mind to the same. Her fingers twitched, wanting to stitch. She needed to do... something.

But... at least this was a puzzle too. That thought calmed her some.

"Until the passing of my parents, yes," Elsa answered carefully. Surely, there were her mother's sisters. But beyond Anna, she knew she didn't have any other siblings. At least, that she knew of. So potentially, there may have been others that her mother conveniently forgot to mention. But she would've remembered. Or Anna would've remembered. Soemeone would have had to.

"Are you---from Arendelle?"

"I am not sure I know any place with that name, but then... I've been away from my kingdom for most of my life. I have recently returned to Windsong, though. I am Princess Essie Elurra Snow," she said, pushing her braid over one shoulder and out of her way.
Most of her life spent on Thandra, hiding who she was, living under the name Essie. Essie was part of who she was now, but Elurra was the name people knew. Elurra Snow. Her mother's daughter.
ladenga: ([ouat] how are we going to do this?)

[personal profile] ladenga 2016-09-03 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"Queen Elsa of Arendelle," Elsa replied, stepping closer and looking her over. Remarkable. They were...so similar and yet so different. The braid, the style dress, the stature. The eyes. If she knew no better, she'd say they were sisters.

"Do you have powers as well?" she asked.
unexpected_princess: (Please don't!)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-03 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
She was studying her as well, but when the other took a step closer, she took a step back. Blast it all, she was a cage fighter who had lived on her own for more than a decade. She'd known Dane less than a year, so why did she wish he was there? She could handle herself! She was no fawning soft little girl!

She threw her shoulders back and lifted her chin, giving no more ground. "I suppose that depends on how you are defining powers, and who you are asking," she said finally. "I am with skilled at what I am skilled at, more so than most. If you wish to call that a power, so be it." She survived 14 years by hiding everything about herself. This girl had already startled her into saying more than she ought to.

She straightened as well, recognizing the familiar stance and yet it was so strange seeing it in someone else. This woman seemed more of a caged woman than she was.

Elsa moved her hands over and over themselves, creating a snowball in her hand.

"...are you able to do that?"
unexpected_princess: (Wait what?)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-06 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay... that was new. And... fascinating. She stood up and peered closer. "Me? Not in this temperature, not on a clear day. Back at the mines, sure. But then, so could anyone with fingers and the ability to bend them. Just like that from nothing? What did you have to stitch to make that work? Chip up the sleeve? Microbot under your skirt?"
ladenga: (Default)

[personal profile] ladenga 2016-09-06 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
She made the snowball disappear. She looked at her, confused.

"Stitch? Chip? Microbot? No! I've been able to do this since I was--well, since forever."

She looked at her hands. Perhaps that was where they differed as well. This look a like didn't have ice powers like she did. It was a lot to hope for, at least.
unexpected_princess: (Encouraging)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-06 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"You... can make snow appear from nowhere..." given where she spent most of her life, it seemed to Essie like something of a useless talent, "But can't stitch a basic chip?" Useless talent or not, she wanted to learn. She grinned. "Trade ya. I'll teach you to stitch up your own drones, you teach me to do that snow thing."
ladenga: (Default)

[personal profile] ladenga 2016-09-07 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
"Drones? What do you mean drones? I can't teach you. It wasn't something I was taught. It was just something I was born with," she explained. Elsa sighed a little. "I can't...teach someone this. Unless htey have the power themselves."
unexpected_princess: (Brow lift)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-08 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
She grunted a bit, then shrugged. "Well, I can show you how to stitch some drones anyhow. They probably won't be as interesting as my seven, but then no one has ever made one as colourful as Cusser, or interesting as Dimwit."
ladenga: (Default)

[personal profile] ladenga 2016-09-08 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Her head spun with what this...other Elsa was saying. Elsa shook her head.

"Slow down, what do you mean stitch some drones? You've done that seven times? Who are Cusser or Dimwit?" Not particularly flattering names but perhaps there was a reason for it?
unexpected_princess: (Dismayed)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-08 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, seven mining drones." Because she looked like Elsa, and lived like Snow had. "Cusser is one of the drones I built a while back, he has a habit of collecting swear words. Dimwit is a bit... well... dim. At least, I used to think he was. I still want to know what Dane stitched into his programing...." she frowned at that, a bit.

[personal profile] ladenga 2016-09-08 05:38 am (UTC)(link)

"And who is Dane?" Elsa asked, curious. There were so many things she was learning from this conversation alone. And strange as it was that it was from her practical doppleganger.

unexpected_princess: (Freedom with Dane)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-08 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
She hesitated, then figured that wherever she was, it couldn't hurt anything to tell, after all, all the allied worlds knew already. "My kidnapper," she said simply with a shrug. And a smile that implied stockholm syndrome.
ladenga: (Default)

[personal profile] ladenga 2016-09-14 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Kidnapper?!" Elsa got over her shock. "You've been kidnapped twice?" she asked carefully.
unexpected_princess: (I shouldn't be laughing now)

[personal profile] unexpected_princess 2016-09-14 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
"Twice? Oh, you mean here. I guess that counts, though I'd like to know who actually managed it and how, then I'll stitch all their clean tech to junk tech, then break that. I'll make their computers so stupid that Dimiwit will seem brilliant in comparison," she muttered, warming to her anger. Of course... Dane was right. Dimwit wasn't as stupid as he seemed. And without him there to roll over her toe.... she could almost believe it.

"But yeah," she said, thoughts of Dimwit and Dane pushing aside the anger until she had a more useful outlet for it. She'd near about kill for a spur. "Dane kidnapped me a few months ago from my home on Thanda. But it's fine now," she said with a shrug. "We're engaged, I've taken the throne, and the war... seems to be over for now."
