Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!


Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

Dean was here...DEAN WAS HERE. Sam hugs back just as tightly having been sure he'd never see his brother again. "Dean," he says pulling back a bit. "This is Imber one of the islands. I live here. When did you get here? How long have you been here....are Lisa and Ben with you?"

[huntsdemons]

"No Lisa and Ben aren't here, just me." He didn't have the heart to even hint at the fact it had been almost 7 years since he'd last seen Lisa and Ben. "You got a place to stay I can crash at? I asked Bobby to stay with him but I'm sure he would understand."

[notarambler]

Sam had been fudging a bit saying he lived at Imber mostly because he wanted to warn Jo before agreeing to let Dean stay with them. They were still getting used to each other. "Where did the map assign you?"

[huntsdemons]

Dean looks down at his map that he's still not entirely sure he understands. "Mundus? Is that where you are or did you get sent somewhere else?"

[notarambler]

"I'm at Mundus now.....I'm living with Jo...you know Jo...she isn't dead and she insisted once she found out what happened."

[huntsdemons]

"Once what happened?" Dean knew of course, Gabriel had told him, but he needed to hear Sam say it. He needed to know if his brother would lie.

[notarambler]

Sam looks down at his shoes for a second."Hell," he mutters, "Hell happened. I get it Dean. I know why you don't like to talk about it now....I get it. I'm living with Jo because I can't live alone"

[huntsdemons]

Dean gives a slight wince and nods. "Yeah, I get that 100%, Sammy. No worries, man and no need for an explanation." Dean understands much better than Sam realizes. He's had years to get over seeing his brother like that, fresh from Hell. Of course...when Sam came back to him he didn't have his soul...at least here he did.

"I'm glad you're staying with her."

[notarambler]

Sam looks up and smiles slightly. "Thanks Dean," he says, "I know people might think it's a little strange but it's working out for Jo and me." He looks his brother over carefully. "So how long?"

[huntsdemons]

"How long what?" Dean asked feigning ignorance.

[notarambler]

Sam sighed and gave his brother his best "I am annoyed but not about to yell at you" face. "How long as it been for you Dean. I'm not stupid just a little shook up from Hell. You know things I don't."

[huntsdemons]

"2016." Dean said softly turning to look away for a moment. "April 2016."

[notarambler]

Sam swore."Shit," he says, "Dean...I shouldn't have asked....I'm sorry."

[huntsdemons]

"Dude you're not dead or anything...it's fine. I'm just...not saying anything else okay? There's way too much time between where we are for it not to fuck something up."

[notarambler]

Sam nods. "I'd rather not know anyway," he mutters, "don't want to make anything worse."

[huntsdemons]

"So uh...what exactly is this place? A type of Purgatory? Alternate Universe?" Dean asked hoping Sam might have some kind of hunch as to what's going on.

[notarambler]

"It isn't an afterlife," Sam says, "it's a real kingdom and they apparently need our help handling some of the weirder stuff that pops up."
