Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!

Well, there's a girl and her pig making their way through the streets. Waking up on the boat wasn't exactly what she'd been expecting but it wasn't because of anything that had come back from no where. Which the less was said about the better because there was nothing strange from that summer. Nothing that had changed their lives.

Mabel was hoping to find her brother somewhere. If she kept wandering around long enough maybe he'd turn up. Girl could hope. And boy did Mabel do hope in abundance. She did a lot of things like that. Just as she was keeping going then. Hoping that Dipper would be waiting. If there was a chance that Wendy would show up or one of her grunkles. Though the latter were still whereabouts unknown. They'd not checked in after their last expedition.

She finally sat on a bench when she needed a break from all the walking, Waddles at her feet. Pulling a journal out of her bag and beginning to write in it.

As the girl sits a young man passes by. A bit of a giant actually dressed in several layers of clothing and carrying a journal of his own that looks well used, with worn out edges and papers spilling out of it. He skimming a particular page when he looks up and spots the pig.

"Nice pig," he comments with a slight shyness that might seem familiar to Mabel.

"Thanks!" She grins, even with everything she still can be so darn happy about everything. "His name's Waddles, I won him." He'd traveled with her from Gravity Falls back to Piedmont and back again a few times. He was a well traveled and much loved pig.

"I'm Mabel, you keep a journal too? It's usually more my brothers thing but I figure if he does it why can't I. Until I find him."

"It was my dad's," Sam admits, "he kept it up for his job and I got it when I came here. I was trying to figure out if he'd ever written anything about some of the stuff this place has." He smiles at here. "I'm waiting for my brother to show up too. His name's Dean. I'm Sam."

"Dipper and - that's my brother, everyone calls him Dipper. He keeps a journal of things. I have a scrapbook. But it isn't here, well here now. It was waiting for me with Waddles." She pats the pig on the head.

"What did your dad do?"

"He was...he hunted things.Weird things. Things a lot of people couldn't see but he could," Sam says with a slight smile, "I know it sounds weird but it's true."

"Yeah? That's kinda what me and my brother do." She quickly sketches a picture of triangle.

"I've punched a unicorn. And with my family and friends we saved Gravity Falls from Bill." She holds out the journal so he can see her sketch. "He may look like a corn chip but he's evil."

Sam examines the drawing and smiles. "I've never seen a demon who looked like a corn chip before. And you punched a unicorn...really. I've never even seen one before." His face is brightened as he talked. "I've met angels and really they aren't all peace and light, most of them are real jerks."

"Ugh you don't want to. They're jerks. Their hair is good for protection spells and y'know they do put up a damn good fight but yeah. Pure of heart thing is crap." She'd rather talk about unicorns that Bill but she brought him up.

"Wait angels? Real angels? They might get along with the unicorns then." She starts giggling. "What other stuff have you seen?"

"I've met gods," Sam replied, "one tried to eat me.And I was in a black and white movie once...and got stuck in TV shows that was so not fun."

"No way!" She's leaning forwards then, completely enthralled in what he's saying and trying to imagine being stuck in her favorite tv shows. Which didn't sound so bad.

"Wax figures tried to kill us once. There was a pterodactyl that stole Waddles too."

"Hey wax figures tried to kill me once too," Sam says, "I even got choked by Gandhi that was weird."
