Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!

Privately, he'd been hoping that maybe the Doctor had known, that the TARDIS had come with them, at least. But apparently it hadn't, and he had to admit that the Doctor had a point - something that brought out a rueful grimace on his end.

"No, I suppose you couldn't have done."

Which meant that they were stuck here, for the foreseeable future, and with more questions than answers. Not that was anything new, but for once it'd be nice to have turned up somewhere without some sort of mystery.

"So why'd they bring us here then, Doctor? All I've gotten out of the natives is a map and that wee device thingy, and not much else. Unless you count them telling us to go find where we're to be be staying. Not very helpful, if you ask me."

The alternative wasn't much better for the Doctor.

"I think whoever brought us all here must have some purpose for doing so. All these people, though, I can't really fathom what it could all be for. I think it's likely that almost everyone here is from a different time and place."

"All of them?"

It was like those war games all over again. At least when it came to the amount of people that had seemed to have brought in, and Jamie wound up looking around rather thoughtfully, mouth opening just enough so that his tongue could tip out to moisten his lips. A second or so later, however, and his hand reached out to try and grab the Doctor's arm with perhaps a bit more enthusiasm than was strictly necessary.

"Hey, Doctor - maybe they're trying to raise an army! You know, like those aliens in that planet we just'd been to."

Just because everything looked peaceful right now didn't mean that it wasn't possible. He'd seen that sort of thing before, after all, but...he dropped his hand, a faint frown crossing his features instead.

"What would they need an army for, though?"

The Doctor held up a finger.

"It's possible, but none of these individuals appear to be soldiers. Look at their clothing. No uniforms. No one carrying any weapons either."

There was a thoughtful tapping of his chin.

"Whatever this is, it's not like the war games we encountered."

Jamie, not quite ready to give up just yet, gestured with his own finger in response.

"Aye, maybe so, but what if they don't know they're soldiers yet? Could be whoever brought us here's keeping that a secret until the right time."

To be fair, that was a bit of a stretch, even for him, and after a moment he let out a sigh and let his hand drop back to his side.

"Still doesn't make sense to have such a large group to me. How're we supposed to figure out what they're actually up to when we've all been brought here at the same time, anyway?"
