Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

"That umbrella stand has it in for me, I'll have you know." Tonks replied in a matter-of-fact tone. It was true (even if it was only true in her own damn mind). "It has nothing to do with this!"

"The whole house has it in for you." It would be a joke if it weren't probably true. He wouldn't put it past any of their forbears to have put in traps against anyone of less than pure blood. His father had taken measures to hide the house from the Muggle neighbors, after all. "You're not going to fall off this place, are you?"

Tonks made a face at Sirius. "I was about to tell you that you were my favorite cousin." Because he recognized that the house actually had it in for her. "But then you go and ruin it by asking if I'll fall off. Will I fall off?" She adjusted her jacket. "I might!"

"Considering that the competition is that Malfoy git, it's really not that hard a title to achieve." Just like it hadn't been that hard for Andromeda to turn into his favorite cousin. She was the only one who hadn't treated him like they'd just stepped in something, after all. "Well if you do fall off, I'll miss you a lot."

"I wasn't going to mention that. I'm nice. I was trying to fluff up your ego though..." Because Tonks had a sudden thought. She was choosing to ignore Sirius' further continuation on the subject of her falling off. "What d'you reckon there's no Ministry about or any sort of wizarding authority?"

Oh Tonks. Never fluff up his ego. He does that well enough on his own and he definitely doesn't need anyone to help him with it. "Well. Considering that this is unlike any place I've ever head of, I'd say chances are good that no such thing exists here. Why? Are you feeling suddenly rebellious?"

"Suddenly?" Tonks was offended! "Suddenly? I'll have you I've been rebellious since the womb. Suddenly? I suppose the next thing you'll say is that I'm well-behaved. Honestly, if you weren't my cousin, I'd have to hex you." She shook her head and the faux (well, mostly faux) outrage was gone.

"No Ministry, no rules and less nuisances. No one to come after you and try to throw you in the pound."

"Oi!" It's not real offense though. He's touched by her concern, in fact. He doesn't really want to be tossed anywhere. The dog jokes though. Sometimes those go a bit too far. "I wouldn't mind that, for sure."
