Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

A whole day was a pretty long time to be away from home, when you'd only just returned home, when you'd just gotten married, when you were alone in a city. Frustrated as she might have been, she wasn't going to miss out on a party. Not because she felt like celebrating, this was the farthest she'd felt like celebrating in weeks, but it gave her a chance to see if maybe, just maybe, there would be someone else in this city she'd recognize.

It was a pretty big hope. But she'd bet on bigger miracles before.

So it really, really wouldn't surprise anyone who knew her that she'd found a chocolate fountain and parked herself beside it.

The only thing that would make this better would be, well, if it'd been at home.

The party had been nice. The people nice enough. They blatantly ignored it when Elsa accidentally frosted one side of the boat as she was getting out. That was a good sign to the Queen. The rest of the day had been spent trying to convince herself that Anna was more than capable of Running Arendelle without her. At least for the time being. She'd figure a way home. Eventually.

She hadn't wanted to make it to the party but it seemed like a good way to meet everyone else. Maybe talk to them to see how long they had been here. As soon as she arrived, she followed the sweet scent of chocolate though and found herself walking right up to the chocolate founding.

"Anna?"

"ELSA!" Anna grips Elsa by the upper arms and bounces twice before dragging her into a hug. "You're here! I mean, you're here." She bites her lower lip and pulls back to look at her sister, concerned. "Arendelle has done okay without us before...Right?"

She hugged her back tightly and just let that part of her settle in the knowledge that she was with Anna and that Anna was safe.

"It should be." She sounded confident but their home was now in Kristoff's care. That had her slightly worried.

She knows that look. She's seen that look. That's not a nice look Elsa. Be nice.

"It is." Firm. Descisive. The castle probably won't be overrun by reindeer.

Possibly.

And surely Olaf won't try to take the tiny snow monsters back again just because they're not there.

That certainly won't happen.

Yep.

"Try this." She shoves a glass full of the liquid chocolate into Elsa's hands with a grin.

She took the glass and held it.

"Anna, don't you think it's weird we ended up here?" She asked, looking around at the party. "What kind of place is this? Do you think Hand orchestrated it?"

"Anna?" It hadn't been too long since she had seen the princess last. The Snow Queen had sacrificed herself and the sisters had been sent back to their home. Everything had ended as happily, as close as it could be with such a bittersweet parting. There was less guilt in Belle's heart, unburdened by her efforts to right the mistake she made long ago.

It was why she could greet her friend with a genuine smile, truly happy to see her again. "I'm so glad to see you!"

"Belle!" Anna forgives easier than probably anyone and is simply happy to see a familiar face in such an unfamiliar setting. Besides, there aren't any cliffs to fall off of her. Not that she thinks Belle will leave her like that again. Or that she hasn't already survived toppling off cliffs twice.

She grabs a glass from the small table beside her and dips it under the fountain before holding it out to her friend. "Have you tried this yet? It's so good.."

"I haven't!" Leave it to Anna to find the best foods and drinks. She hadn't seen any chocolate, but she suspected Anna would sniff it out. Accepting the glass, she took a drink, her grin spreading. "This place doesn't seem so terrible. It's nicer than some of the others we've been to."

Which is a bit of a step up, thankfully. Despite being far from home, she could enjoy herself.

"Did you just arrive today?"

"I did. It's...everyone here is really nice." It's not home. It's just not. Anna likes adventure as much as anyone she's ever met, but she's kind of getting tired of being taken places without being asked first.

It's rude for one thing.

And for another, no one ever wants to tell her how to get back.

"How long have you been here?"

Considering that this is probably the fourth time she's been pulled into another realm, she can understand that sentiment. "They are so far. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop."

There is always a catch with these new worlds.

"Not for very long. Only a few days."
