Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

She wasn't interrupting anything that someone else hadn't already interrupted. Then again he'd been on the same boat as she had been and gotten off when she had. So he was in the dark just as much as she was. The sad thing was... his spider sense was going off like crazy. There was something about this place that he honestly didn't want to find out about, didn't want to venture into and yet at the same time he wanted to.

"I'm sorry but no, I don't know where this place is," the teen tells her with a bit of a smile. "Never seen it before." Though he's sure it could easily be some kind of trick being played on them too. "I can help you ask around if you want?"

Of course he didn't. Useless. Though that wasn't surprising as Adria had rarely found much use for humans. They couldn't do anything and that was partly why she'd never once attempted to explore her human side.

Somehow she managed to show one bit of her scorn and instead flashed him a small understanding smile. She spread her hands a bit as she began to speak. "At least it appears as though I am not the only one who has never seen this place before." She glanced around, watching what appeared to be the natives. "Do you think any of them will actually help you?"

If only she knew how not useless he was. Then again, he takes her slight bit of scorn with a grain of salt. He's heard enough of it dealing with his enemies and with someone that had been his best friend. So she gets a smile because Peter's got no intention of letting anything bother him.

"Maybe," he tells her before moving away and heading towards one of the natives. After all, it never hurt to ask. Though he still didn't like the feel of the place or the feel of the woman he'd just been near either. Not that he'd say anything to her about that. Not when his aunt May taught him to be nice. To give people a chance. His uncle Ben had been good for that lesson as well.

"Excuse me," the teen says giving one of the natives a warm smile. "But could you tell me where we are." Though something told him that they wouldn't really be willing to answer or if they were... well, they wouldn't quite be able to understand most of it.

Her eyebrows lifted as she watched him approaching some of the natives and she shook her head. She almost laughed when they shook their heads and moved on without giving him any of the information they sought. Of course they weren't going to find any help from the native population and she was sure if they did help in any way, it would only be as much as they were allowed.

Slowly she moved over to where he was standing, her gaze followed the natives for a moment though. "Not as helpful as you had hoped?" she finally asked, slowly turning her gaze back to him.

Well, that definitely didn't go as he had planned. Then again, he hadn't planned on going out and talking to the natives. At least that hadn't been his intention when he'd showed up on the island. This whole place was strange and so was the feel of some of the people around him. Something that kept making his spidey senses go out of whack.

"No, not really. Maybe there's someone in charge of the island that we should find?" Hey, it was idea. Everyone had a leader. Right?
