Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.
2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!
5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!

"I can't believe you're here," she murmured into his coat as she clapped his back with her hands.
no subject
"That's...yeah. I mean, no I can't believe it either. How...how did you get here?"
He's still very confused. His mind is racing to come up with anew answer.

"Riiiiiight, yeah. An unknown force that can get into the TARDIS and just pluck me out of the time vortex. Nothing wrong with that avenue at all, no."
He was trying to mask the concern unsuccessfully.

He shook his head. No, it was not something he really liked. Twice and by potentially two different forces.

"Doctor," she started, "...I fail to see what's got you in such a tizzy; it's not like you've not dealt with this at least once before, perhaps countless times. It's not your first rodeo, darling."
A smirk.
no subject
"It just worries me how the old girl will now let any old force just swoop me up and into...welllllll, I suppose it could be worse."
no subject
"Doctor, it's just another change of 'scenery'. Like that ship hasn't taken you to other galaxies...into the past, and into the future....you're really making more out of this than there actually is."
no subject
"Quite a scenery it is too. I don't think I've seen anything like it, and that's saying a lot."
no subject
"Yes," came the reply. "It's definitely one of the more inventive places the universe has decided to drop me into." It should have scared her how breezy and casual she was any more when it came to these things, but, well.
"What else is on your mind? I get the feeling you're hampered by more than just our immediate surroundings."
no subject
"Right now, I'm hampered by the lack of transport to where I was originally heading."
Although, in truth, he was in no hurry to arrive at the Ood-sphere.

To that end, Louise was thoroughly hacked off by the knowledge. An independent woman to the hilt, she felt cut off, restricted, even. As a senior officer and detective, the redhead RELIED on a ready source of transport. If there even was a law enforcement agency in this place, she was hard-pressed to figure out how any of the precinct was supposed to travel anywhere.

He whipped out his sonic to scan around, but was surprised there was no reading.
"Oh that's bizarre."
He tried again. Nothing. Looking at Louise, he tried scanning her.
no subject
"Will you kindly STOP doing that!" The sonic screwdriver fell to the ground.
"I've told you time and time again I've no interest in that...that THING--reading my brain waves and such. Good Lord, does that thing emit radiation?"
She bent down to fetch the screwdriver, and inspected it.
no subject
"Just wanted to make sure it still worked. At least it still works on you. Just not really around here."
