Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.
2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!
5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!

There were times now though where she was tempted to drink. Anything to numb and blur the memories of finding her team mates dead but she won't do that. Her father's voice in her head and having King nearby won't let her do that. It was still tempting at times though.
But she couldn't remember the last time she had really gone to a party and now she almost didn't know how to go about it. She was standing to the side too, hanging out on the edges, watching the faces of people around her. Especially the people who were doing the same thing as her.
Which was how she focused on the man standing nearby, her eyes flickering to him. "I think people are having a hard time relaxing."

"Just showed up to an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people? Even the least wary would be a little wary of that," Oliver said by way of agreement. He gave the woman a nod and lifted his glass at her, greeting her.
"Can I get you anything? I was just about to get another drink, it's not much hassle to carry two back."
no subject
"Sure. A water." She started to say, paused and then added. "A vodka water, please."
no subject
"Sure thing." Oliver went to the bar and got two drinks - the vodka water for her and scotch for him and made his way back over. He passed the drink over with the careful precision of a bartender and gave her a little smile.
"I'm Oliver, by the way."

"It is," Oliver said, shaking her hand firmly. She had an athletic build, a way of carrying herself that Oliver felt familiar with. It was comforting, in a way, because it meant there were other capable people around the islands.
"I would ask if you've been here long but I'm pretty sure we all showed up in the last day or so, didn't we?"
no subject
"It seems that way." She confirmed with a nod. "At least everyone I've come across seems to be in the same boat. Pun not intended."

"Yeah. Frustrating, trying to figure out a rhyme or reason to it. Still, the amenities are nice," he said, lifting his drink in a salute to that.
"The last time I ended up marooned it wasn't as pleasant as this."

"I spent some time working under a government contract," Oliver said. Revealing who he was as the Arrow was probably not the topic of conversation for someone he'd just met, no matter how strange the circumstance, though he could skirt around it.
"It wasn't in the most pleasant of locations or doing the most pleasant of things."
