Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.
2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!
5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!
Re: Oliver Queen | Arrow | Party
Re: Oliver Queen | Arrow | Party
The Queen Family hadn't had much in the way of breaks lately so Oliver imagined it was high time they had at least one. Thea being here was certainly something he can consider a favor from on high and he was grateful for it.
Still, if she was hurt, Oliver wanted to be sure that the injury wasn't something that would just end up taking her down at a later date. His brow furrowed a little and he did a more thorough assessment, trying to decide how much Thea was hiding from him. They were good at hiding things from one another - sometimes a little too good.
"How bad is it? Did you patch it up yourself or did you see a doctor?"

"Your body isn't going to heal if you don't give it the food and rest it needs. I've been at death's door enough times to know that personally."

"How about you let me think about that and you just relax? What's a big brother for if it isn't to boss you around and tell you what's good for you?"
Maybe they weren't kids any longer but just because ages had changed didn't mean Oliver had. He motioned toward one of the tables.
"Come on, eat something so I can stop hovering? It's not a good look for me."

"We have to figure this place out," Oliver said, watching as Thea made her way to the nearby table. He had no idea what this island held for them but as he'd survived Lian Yu, he had confidence he could make it through this one as well. It was just a matter of learning the lay of the land, the interactions between people, and his role in all of it.
"If we're ever going to escape, we're going to need to know how it works inside and out. You're going to have to help me survey it, learn it, know it."

"I have my bow too. I don't have my suit," Oliver said. It was not an ideal situation but at least with a bow and arrows, he could defend himself. It comforted him that Thea had hers too.
"We'll be in a good position to defend if we need to."

"You probably need it," Oliver said, voice tinged with the bittersweet knowledge of how long injuries like that could truly linger.
"You think it's better and it's not. It's just a patch, not a fix."

Re: Oliver Queen | Arrow | Party
"We're just going to need something to stop knives and arrows," Oliver said. "Maybe catch a bullet but we can't guarantee that. Something with a tight weave would work - sort of like kevlar."
He grinned a little. "Or we can be over the top and go leather, depending on what we find."

"Yeah, I'm hoping there's no guns. I hate guns." Oliver didn't think there was much finesse to be had in guns and preferred any other type of weapon instead. Too bad his enemies didn't always agree.

Oliver nodded, mind already forming a plan. "We'll see where we are in a few days and regroup? I'm not thinking it's a good idea to push you too far when you're still healing."
He paused for a moment and touched her hand. "You're my sister. I'm never going to be able to let go of being protective."
