Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!


Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

"I hope that I don't need an escort and merely can enjoy one," Sansa says, smiling softly.

"And I would like to enjoy your company."

Alric nods understandingly, and seeming quite pleased with that reply, himself, even if he resists making a grand display about it.

"...then, consider me at your disposal. And yes, my hopes, of course, are quite the same."

He pauses just a moment, taking on a somewhat playful tone.

"I'll try sincerely not to be a dull bodyguard. Now, I believe you were walking before I interrupted you? I'll gladly walk with you, if you like."

Referring of course (mostly facetiously) to his flute playing that drew her away from wherever she was wandering as "interrupting" her.

"I was walking back toward my home," Sansa agrees. She tilts her head, inviting him to come closer.

"I would like very much to have an escort back if you would be so kind to do so."

"Ah... then the honor would be mine."

Alric smiles and nods, stepping forward to join her.

"How have you found this place, so far, Lady Sansa?"

"Quiet, luckily. Aside from appearing here so suddenly, there hasn't been anything frightening and nobody has harmed my person. I must sound so morbid, to be concerned with such things, but my world is one that is currently at war. It is not safe for a woman to travel alone," Sansa explains.

"But here, I have not felt unsafe."

Alric doesn't look all that shocked that she'd have such concerns, and gives her a slight, sympathetic smile, although a pensive one, particularly given her mention of war.

"...even in absence of any great conflict, I'm afraid, it's often not so safe as it ought to be. However... I am certainly glad you've found some peace and security, here. I've been fortunate that the greatest strife in my own home has remained, so far, relatively civilized."

He pauses a moment.

"Mm... I would understand, of course, if you don't wish to speak about it--but I would be most intrigued to learn of your homeland, Lady Sansa. I... traveled quite a bit, before coming here, for my Errancy, and I suppose I developed a certain fondness for learning about new places. If, again, you should want to speak about it."
