Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.
2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!
5. Wild Card!: Choose your own scenario!

Belle is dead. Hook killed her. Neal currently lives in Storybrooke. Emma is married to Mr Gold and they have a two year old daughter called Nicola. Regina lives with Robin Hood and his Merry Men in the Enchanted Forest.
[He made to use names rather than relationships to stem any confusion.]
My family have no need to go to the Underworld. And even if we did, I doubt I would be allowed along for the ride. Even if I wanted to go, I know my parents would want to keep me safe from those I've killed.
[He paused for a moment, trying to think of how to segue into his next point but failed so he just continued.]
I do think I'm not your anything though. My guess is that this is what Isaac was trying to create. Maybe he succeeded?

After a few minutes he decided to focus on the latter part. He knew the first part not to be true, at least not for him, but a certain name at the end gave him a possible explanation for the differences.]
You haven't killed anyone. [As far as he's aware of at least. God only knows still what happened while he was comatose.]
But yes...Isaac might be responsible. Though that begs the question how this place was capable of pulling you from that world. Though given that most of these people seem to from different worlds, perhaps it counted that world just as real as all the rest.

Sitting down on the floor, he removed the notebook from his bag as well as his coloured pencils and started to write down everything he had learnt from this version of Mr Gold. He'd created this note form as a precaution against magic. Only he knew what it meant so how could it be deciphered?
When Gold started to speak again, he didn't stand up but looked up instead and listened, waiting for his chance to reply. Hearing the denial though, he did move his things back into his bag so he could almost level with the man when he spoke.]
I have killed. Twice. [He stared Gold down, daring him not to believe him a second time. And when he had spoken those words, there was no remorse in eyes. He did not feel an ounce of guilt for killing two of Rumplestiltskin's three students.
He was tempted to expand on the Isaac theory but he felt this needed to be addressed and knew that if he said anything else, that could be used as a distraction, a diversion. So he just continued to stare and wait and see.]

Given what he did know of Henry, if this one was in any form similar, no doubt the deaths were justified, possibly even done in defense of someone else. So there was no cause to worry about him doing it again here.]
That doesn't matter here, unless you plan on doing it again.

Only if they arrive and repeat their actions. [Again, his voice was colder than usual. This man may not be his father, or his grandfather, but is Rumplestiltskin. And he would help protect him from those unredeemed students.]
I protect what's important to me. You taught me that. Or rather, my father did.

I see. We'll just have to wait and see just whom this place drags in, though we can always hope it isn't capable of bringing in the deceased.
[Or that it has some standards for just who and what it brings here. After all, there had to be some reason for this. Time would hopefully reveal what it was.]

[He sat back down on the ground at this point, bringing out his notebook and flicking back at what he'd written.]
Why don't we try and figure out the differences in our stories instead? Assuming Isaac is to blame, of course. I'm not sure how exactly as we managed to stop him before his plan was completed.
[He was smiling now as if none of the previous conversation had happened, and if Gold looked closely at Henry's bag, he might see the Author's quill poking out of it now that Henry had removed other things that were hiding it.]
no subject
Here?
[His tone possibly conveyed his dislike of that idea. He didn't care to discuss such personal matters more than they already had out here where anyone could easily listen in on them.]
no subject
We can go somewhere else if you prefer. I was given a map when I arrived, I'm sure we can find a place that suits your liking.
[He caught the tone and understood. It seemed this version of Gold had had more hardships and may not discuss them at all. But maybe in more private quarters, the information could be coaxed out.]
no subject
Perhaps a hotel room.
[Once they were there, he could always cast a spell to keep anyone from listening in on them. Something that would be a little too attention-grabbing and unwieldy to do out here in the open.]
no subject
I think there's some housing this way. We could try there.
[Anywhere would really work. Just some privacy before they went into the gritty details. Because there were gritty details to every story.]
