Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island. Interesting. He hasn't been spotted in a long time. Help the locals defeat him!

Kendra smiles back. "I know what you mean," she says "This island is too beautiful...too everything and I can't help staying on my guard a little bit.." She's also hoping against hope that maybe this is a Savage free zone at least for a little while.

"We need people like us on guard," Oliver said. Maybe it wasn't his city but he still fet protective of this place and the people within it. He felt like it was his duty to keep offering his skills to protect those who couldn't protect themselves and with people like Thea and Kendra here, he could make that a reality.

He assessed her for a moment, trying to see if he noted any changes between the Kendra he'd met before and the one standing before him now. "Have you remembered anything else about your past life, your training?"

She nodded. "I've remembered quite a bit actually," she says feeling that deep stab of grief that comes up when talking about her memories. It's a reminder that Carter is gone and she's remembering things on her own that she can't share with him. "Turns out I was a welder during World War Two. That came in really handy recently." She gives him a sad smile. "How is everyone in Star City doing?" Redirect that was the way to handle pain.

"Could be better," Oliver said, keeping his tone neutral and forcing a smile. How did he explain just how far to shit his life had gone? If he was accused of being broody now, he would really give truth to the lie if he went into it in detail. So, he reserved himself.

"We've had a hell of a time with Damien Darhk lately."

The name pings something in the back of Kendra's head and she turns to Oliver. "We met him," she says, "back in the 1970's he was trying to buy a warhead from Vandel Savage."

"Nice to see he was always a pain in humanity's collective backside," Oliver said bitterly. Darhk had ruined so much with his relationships and family and he wanted him eliminated if at all possible.

"You stopped him, I hope?"

"We stopped Savage and that stopped Dhark from getting what he wanted.," Kendra said, "in all honesty he seemed amused by the whole deal. Almost like he knew it was going to happen."

"Makes you wonder how long he's had plans in play," Oliver said, mulling that over. Clearly something like HIVE would take years to put together but how deep did it go? How far back did it go? And, to that end, how far back would they have to go to stop him?

"You realize I'm going to want to trade war stories now."
