Welcome to Medietas and our first ever Test Drive Meme! As we approach the grand opening of the game on April 1st, we thought we’d kick things off with a little something that will get you all interacting in the new setting! And it’s one less sample you have to worry about on your application if you’re considering our little game here.

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You’ve just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a … floating boat, with people you may or may not know? You can’t help but ponder what’s going on here, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor and when it docks, some lovely locals are standing in wait to greet you. After that they hand you a map and communications device and invite you to find your accommodations and explore.

2. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

3. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to explore, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail, or go swimming. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

4. The Bells Are Ringing!: And that means a islands wide warning that something dangerous is approaching! But where the heck are they coming from? Nevermind that, the caretakers rally the children and the senior citizens while Scykal, Imber's local sea monster, emerges from the large body of water on the island.  Interesting.  He hasn't been spotted in a long time.  Help the locals defeat him!

ARRIVAL!

Jesse wasn’t sure how she’d gotten here; there was no breach, as far as she knew; they’d closed them all on the other Earth. But one moment she’d been standing in the S.T.A.R Labs on the other Earth... and the next she was waking on a floating boat. With no idea how she’d gone from one place to the other.

But she didn’t like it.

She’d found her way to the townhouse that was apparently where she was staying for the moment; the changes of clothes were appreciated. She’d been wearing the clothes she had on for... she didn’t know how long. Months, at least. So she showered and changed and went to explore the island, her mind racing to try and figure out a way home.

Or a way to the other Earth.

To her Dad.

She was nearing the docks when she caught sight of a familiar head of hair, the glimpse of a familiar face, and froze. It couldn’t be. He couldn’t be here... could he? The odds of two people from the same place being brought to the same place at almost the same time were... astronomical.

Almost impossible.

Except there he was, moving distractedly through the crowd, and she started after him, almost running. She needed to catch him. Needed to make sure he was real.

“Dad!”

Harrison's head snaps up at the familiar voice. "Jesse," he says his voice cracking slightly. His voice was still slightly rough from Zoom's grip what seemed like years ago. He folds his map and pockets it with shaking hand and spots her. He wants to run, wants to sweep her into his and never let go. He just manages to rein himself in and crosses to her in a few strides "Jesse sweetheart."

That’s okay, Jesse does it for him, pretty much flinging herself at him and hugging him as tightly as she can, with all her might. Clinging. There’s a lot of clinging. “Daddy.” He’s here. He’s real. She clings to him harder, shaking and trying very hard not to cry.

He hugs her tight and close with a soft whimper. "Oh sweetheart," he said, "I'm here it's okay, Daddy is here and nothing bad is going to happen to you again I promise."

She lets out a soft little sob and holds him tighter, tucking her head into the crook of his neck. He’s safe. And she’s safe. He’s here. No matter what happens now, they’re in this together.

Harrison hugs her tighter unsure of what to say. But the words slip out anyway almost like his heart knows before his brain does. "I'm sorry. Jesse I'm sorry."

She sobs harder and clings a little more. “I love you Dad.”

He just hugs her tighter. "I love you too Jesse. I'm so sorry you got mixed up in my mess."
