Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Have an old muse you want to dust off, or voice test a brand new one in our game setting? Then you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat, with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor with what appears to be.. are those floating islands? They sure are! And as if that isn't mind boggling enough, no one seems to have answers. But you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device and send you on your way. Perhaps the questions can wait for now. There's a new place to explore!
2. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to see, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Visit the market on Aerilon. Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
3. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
4. Wild Card! Customize your own scenario to fit your needs!

He had complaints about this world but it was a far cry better than whatever he'd ever experienced.
"Some magical force did it, or gods. Or some other force with enough power to pull you outta your own reality into this one."

Blah.
Blah blah blah. "She ain't here." On all fours he leaps down to a lower outcropping of a nearby building.
"There's no wifi, no person who does all your dirty work which is what I'm 'presuming' this Natalie person is, and everything here operates on magic. Deal." He chuckles a bit.
"I dunno, I think I outta follow you, watch you get yourself into trouble and laugh when it happens."
So sorry about him, he is not a nice man.
"Very well. However, as you are clearly not omnipotent, I shall not take it on your word that whatever brought me from Paris did not bring someone else as well. though if I am right, and if others from my world are here, you would do well to not be stalking me," he said with a chill finality to his voice. "After all, if you are speaking of Paris, and magic, there is always the chance of Ladybug and Chat Noir mistaking you for an Akuma. Though I am certain they would be very sorry, after."
He lifted a single brow, then surveyed the area, as though the boy was of no concern any longer.
I watch the show. I know.
"What I'm speaking of, old man, is the bigger picture. The whole of the multiverse and the infinite. Ouroboros. Does that even register with you? Anything is possible, everything is possible. And your Chat Noir? Seen him. He might be magic but he's still just human, and I ain't scared of him."
Ladywhat now?
I know, still felt obliged to apologize.
Chat Noir. Here. And perhaps not Ladybug. This was his chance. The miraculous would be his. And this boy? He would use him. Oh yes. But he couldn't, not as Gabriel.
"Chat Noir is here? Then Nathalie and my son may well be, as well. And if you are not afraid of Chat Noir, perhaps it is simply that he does not see you as evil," he said simply. "I believe I shall find a newspaper, and a cafe, and consider my options. Good day." More polite than he intended to be, but that tidbit was quite useful, and if this boy could become an akuma, could get him the miraculous? Yes. Yes, that would work very well.
Gabriel you are going to frusterate this kid so much.
He wasn't as susceptible to psychic powers either, except for one little detail, his having a magical control spell already cast on him.
"Wouldn't be afraid of em even if I was a villain... And man, you are every single thing I hate about grownups. Treat everyone like they're beneath you... Bet your son feels the same way." He can't imagine any kid being happy living under the iron fist of this dictator.
Yay?
"You have yet to give me a reason to believe you are not," he said simply, cooly, still walking. "What my son feels is between he and myself."
Re: Yay?
And then he picks up on it.
"So what can you do, magic man? You got powers, and that's why you're such a prat? Or is it that you just are and you don't even realize?"
no subject
"I am well aware of who and what I am, far more than you are," he said flatly. The child could sense the miraculous? Impossible! Or was he baiting him, trying to bluff and see what he would admit to. He would admit to nothing.
no subject
"A human with delusions of grandeur. Seen it. Not impressed. You're just some sad little man who has to be a dick to others just to feel power. Maybe if you were even half as scary as Lord Recluse I'd take you seriously."
no subject
"I have no delusions of anything, I assure you. I also have no need to reduce myself to crude vernacular to make a point. I likewise have no need to be scary, to you or to anyone. Do feel free to absent yourself from my company at your convenience."
no subject
Black wispy tendrils emerge from it to grab at the man's limbs.
"You wanted me to give you a reason that I wasn't beneath you? I got power, you got some little tiny blip on the magic radar. You're nothing. Put that in perspective, you bastard!"
You know, if Gabriel hadn't been so dismissive and arrogant, he might have actually been able to fight off the urge to do this.
But nope, he's gonna put this old man in his place.
no subject
Knowing Chat Noir was here, he was not above using himself as bait to confirm that he was not Papillion. In fact, this could work out to advantage. Yes.
"Perspective?" he asked, seeming unruffled. "You expect me to believe that a magical temper tantrum means that you are superior to an adult?"
no subject
Still more tendrils come out from below to reach out for the man to entangle him. Each one that does make contact has a draining effect.
"Bein' an adult doesn't make you better. It doesn't make you superior. Doesn't make you wise. It just makes you older'n me, and somehow, with you people, that makes you think you have some authority! Well, you don't! You don't have power over me and y'never will!" And that's what his attacking him was, exactly. A big fat 'you're not the boss of me!'
Tantrum indeed.

Nothing drew out a hero like a villain attacking an innocent.
That was the problem with children, really, they never saw how to turn things properly to their own advantage. Well, he would be just as happy seeing to this child's education. Personally. Or rather, seeing to it that it is seen to in the harshest way feasible.
And given the root of this particular temper tantrum, Gabriel did the one thing he knew would enrage the child into losing all control, and making this into an incident so large that Chat Noir could not ignore it. He turned his head slightly and gave the boy a rare gift. He gave him a smile. Small. Almost a smirk, but a smile.
A sign that even this could not be seen as a threat, as though this were something small and cute. He made sure the expression remained just long enough to be seen, and not a moment longer.
