Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Well yes, you sound like you like your father. And he was not a complete ass while he was living, or while he has been here."

Better fathers deserved better treatment. Tyrion paused again, before he arched an eyebrow at Henry, "Do you really want to hear that I find your mother attractive? You are an odd fellow, Henry Mills."

"Honestly, I don't know him very well. I first met him when I was eleven. He died when I was twelve. And now I'm thirteen."

Henry's smile had slipped talking about his father, but the confusion on Tyrion's face brought it back. "I won't deny she's a beautiful woman. And I like being odd. What's the point in being even?"

[tallasaking]

"So ... you have barely known him. Well, I shall hope he will not turn into an ass then." Because frankly every child should be spared that.

He seemed to consider that, before he shook his head, "No point whatsoever. And your mother is stunning. However if she is still evil I will be avoiding her like the plague."

"From what I know of him, through experience and story, I don't think he will." He really hoped Neal didn't. It would break his heart if he did.

"She's not here yet. And she's not evil any more. She's a hero." And Henry stared his determination right into Tyrion's eyes, daring him to disagree. Regina had proved herself against Zelena and he wouldn't let anyone tell him otherwise. Especially those who didn't know her.

[tallasaking]

"Good. As I said someone ought to have a decent father."

He takes in that determined look, before he nods his head slowly. "I believe you." And because it needs to be said, and he is Tyrion, "... so is she married? Betrothed? Willing to be courted by a shorter man?

"I hope I am one day." And he was serious. But Tyrion's questions about his mother jut made him laugh again.

"Last I checked she was dating Robin Hood. But who knows? She may be willing if she ever arrives her. I already have an uncle who's younger than me. What's wrong with a step-dad who's smaller than me?" He was teasing and he hoped it wasn't too much of a sore spot with his new friend.

He tipped his head thoughtfully. "I am not sure who this Robin Hood is, but he does sound very formidable. Luckily, I am formidable in my own ways. Mostly from the verbal ones, but still."

He smiled back, before he snorted out a laugh. "Absolutely nothing. Smaller step-fathers are usually ideal for growing boys."

"In legend, he was an outlaw. Robbing the rich to help the poor." Henry explained, still amused at the idea of Tyrion as his step-father.

"Not sure if I'll grow any more but the thought is appreciated."

[tallasaking]

"... Now see, that is so much better than robbing the rich because they're my family." He shook his head, "I have much stiffer competition to become your step-father than I realized."

Henry opened his mouth to speak, then realised something and closed it. "Well, right now neither of him are here so you'll just have to be a friend. Since I'm half hoping the mother and father I do have will get back together." Without Hook in the way, and with Neal alive, it was a hope he believed in. And maybe his heart could strengthen that into reality. "But if Regina ever turns up, I'll make sure to introduce you to her, how does that sound?"

"Thank you ever so much. I shall be pleased to be your friend. And you mean ... the other mother and your real father." He really was going to have to follow up on that incestuous thing.

"That sounds marvelous, thank you."

Henry nodded. "My birth parents, yes. I had hoped they would back home but my father died before that could happen so now she's dating the pirate." And the way Henry spoke made it all too clear he didn't like the pirate.

[tallasaking]

And now, Tyrion's eyebrows are going to go up. Way up. "What is wrong with .... The Pirate? Beyond, of course, being a pirate."

That really was just self-explanatory.

Henry snorted. "Let's say everything and move on, shall we?" He'd rather talk about his father's death than Hook.

"We were originally going to discuss my father, weren't we?"

[tallasaking]

"We were. So tell me how he was dead and then not dead. And please let me know if this has anything to do with you feeding me to him, so I at least can get a headstart." Yes, all of this is said with a very straight face.

Henry managed a small chuckle at the zombie reference but the circumstances of Neal's death were still painful. He turned to the book, flipping it back to the picture of the boy his father had been and staring at it as he spoke.

"It was magic and an evil woman that killed him. He died...He sacrificed himself to save everyone else. I don't know how he's back. It was this place that did it. I'm just grateful I have the chance to get to know him."

His hand moved to the book. "This was him as a boy. When he thought life was good. Or not nearly as bad as they ended up being."

He looked at Henry then, then down at the book. "Such a hopeful face - it reminds me of you, young Henry. There must be a lot in common between you."

"I think there is. Both believers of the best in people. Same hatred of the evils of magic. And we all, including my grandfather, got tormented by one of the worst villains I've ever faced."

He turned to Tyrion. "Who would you say was the worst person you ever met?"

[tallasaking]

"... well that's not encouraging for furthering your accquaintence, if you are always going about and getting yourself tortured. Stop that." Tyrion said with mock seriousness, even though his eyes flashed sympathy.

His answer was all too quick. "My father."

"You say that as if I actually wanted those things!" Henry replied in the same mocking tone.

"But you'll certainly get along with my grandfather. It was his father who I was talking about. A man...A boy so vile he was able to torment three generations. It was his fault I almost died for the third time before I'd entered my teens."

[tallasaking]

"Henry, from what I've heard of your family - you all might be odd. I am not judging, but I am not saying it would be beyond the realm of belief." Tyrion shrugged for a moment, before his expression became grim.

"Then I feel for your grandfather. Some parents do not deserve to be called the title."

[darkestauthor]

"My family is odd in some ways. But I don't want to die any more than you do. Assuming you don't want to die." They might be joking around with information, but Henry still wanted that on the record. He didn't like almost dying lots.

"I'm glad we agree on that at least." Henry sighed. "Though perhaps that's enough about my family."

[tallasaking]

"Well it was rather in question for some time ... but I have decided that being alive is still optimal. Life is filled with possibilities. Death is not."

He glanced over at the young man and nodded . "Indeed. Quite enough."

Henry didn't want to touch the subject of death so he left it be, moving on to the other subject in mind. "I'll be right back." And he ran back to his bedroom coming back with two notebooks and a pen but also a quill and ink bottle which he set aside. He opened one notebook to a blank page and offered it to Tyrion with the pen. Then he opened the other, setting it before him while holding the quill.

"It's your turn. Show me your family tree."

[tallasaking]

"Very good." Tyrion took up the pen - then paused - eying that pen seriously. "How far back would you like me to go? And how do I use it?"

He could go rather far back, if he wanted to. He had the ability to do so, thanks to all his extensive studying.
