Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Henry pondered the questions then realised he has the answer upstairs. He said nothing just grinned as he ran out of the room and came back with a box. He thumbed through them until he found one his Avengers comics and handed it to Tyrion. "That's Thor. He's part of the Avengers, which is a group of superheroes trying to help save the world. Thor is based of the Norse mythology as well. The Norse are a group of people from my world's history."

He arched an eyebrow as the boy ran off upstairs, amusement flashing over his face as he handed over the booklet. "I see ... and he's some sort of hero then, like Bran the Builder or Lann the Clever."
no subject
He watched Tyrion flick through the comic. "Yeah. Thor is a hero. Loki's the villain. It's quite black and white but it's fun to read. My mom used to buy me those before..." He paused, wondering how to explain. In the end, he used a little white lie. "...before I got this." He gestured to the quill.

He nodded his head slowly, reading the pages. Art and writing together, fascinating. "So you could write your own stories, instead of reading those made by others?"
no subject
Luckily, Tyrion changed the subject and he nodded. "That is my job. I'm the current Author. With this quill and ink, I document the stories of other people. The previous Author wrote that Storybook." He pointed the original one in which they'd seen Baelfire and Regina. "But he used the power for his own personal gain so it was then passed onto me."
no subject
He allowed the conversation to shift alone, before he nodded his head. "So you are to write stories just for everyone else?"
no subject
He's not sure exactly what Tyrion wants him to say. Then again, he's not sure what to say to himself.
no subject
He presses his lips together. "So tell me, was there no ... lessons? No book on how to be the Author? Ancient scroll, that sort of thing?"

And he sounds rather annoyed by that. He wasn't just a kid. He was Henry Mills, son of the saviour and the Evil Queen, grandson of the Dark One, the Author and owner of the Heart of the Truest Believer. Without him, the curse wouldn't have been broken. But everyone just remembered the times he'd been kidnapped and almost died. It was very frustrating.

Tyrion murmured, as he continued to read the book in his hands, carefully tracing his finger along the speech bubbles, chuckling softly. "This is rather amusing. If not simplistic, as you said."

Henry looked at the comic and smiled back. "There's tons of different ones with different stories and characters. I find them fun to read. You can have a look at the others if you like." He gestured towards the box they'd come in.
