Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"And I'm not letting some random woman risk her neck for mine." He grit out. It was worse than arguing with his mother. Or his father.

"Alright then, new plan." It's not as if they weren't close enough--both to the statues and each other. Trunks was also pretty sure he was faster than she was as he moved to wrap an arm around her, hopefully pinning her arms securely. His other hand went to cover her eyes.

Assuming that all worked, he closed his own---all or nothing.

Nah it's fine.

Her mouth dropped open at the audacity, and she started struggling out of pure reflex. For once... she was speechless... or rather, she couldn't begin to think of what to say.

But that only lasted a moment. "GET OFF ME!" It had been a close call between that, or screaming for Rory, and as much as she wanted Rory there, she was hardly going to be taken seriously if at the first sign of trouble she went calling for help. Then again, maybe better Rory wasn't here. If he was at home, he was safe. She was getting more than tired of watching him die.

That moment was all that was needed, if these things were as fast and likely to take the bait as she'd said. IF they were anything other than ordinary statues. Which...well...okay maybe they weren't ordinary statues, but they weren't weeping angels judging by this test.

Which meant no sooner had Amy finished her shout, then Trunks let her go. Even taking a few steps back to give her space. "Sorry about that, but it seemed like the only way we'd stop arguing was to both go." Which, since they both hadn't...

As dangerous as her weeping angels sounded, he was willing to bet these statues weren't them, given their tests.

She stared at him for a moment, wondering just how incredibly stupid he was, then she burst out laughing. Stupid or not, it was something the Doctor would have done. Something River would have done. It felt almost like home.

"Alright then. Not angels. On to the next crisis, then. I'm going to go and guess that just before you found yourself here, you were holding a small black box?"

Fine line between stupidity and bravery, and that line gets even less clear when the Stubborn Genes kick in. Which both of them had more than an abundance of. Aside from his being genuinely apologetic, he simply stared back at her.

"Nope. I woke up on the boat, arriving here." No black boxes--what is it with her and boxes?

She shook her head. "Before the boat. When you were at home. My world, a few months ago all these small black boxes appeared. Everywhere. The Doctor's been trying to figure them out, but they haven't done anything. They just... sit there. I had picked one up, and then suddenly... I was on a boat, here."

"Nope, still no black box. None of that where I'm from either."

She frowned. "Okay, so maybe the boxes didn't send me here. That's actually disturbing. But The Doctor may find it a relief anyway. Alright then. Not the black boxes, not the Tardis. So how exactly are we here... and... why?"

Trunks shrugged. "No clue honestly, and any answers I got from what passes for their welcoming committee were vague at best. I was exploring and looking around, when I sensed the energy from those statues, thought one changed size, and then you grabbed my arm."

"And here we are. I didn't even listen to the welcome committee, such as they were. Might have spooked a few of them, however. I have gotten rather tired of being kidnapped. And if this is Kovarian again, somehow, I promise you I will punch that eyepatch so far into her head that her brain will short circuit."

Someone might have a few unresolved anger issues, there.
