Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!
5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Still, at least whoever had yanked them here made it comfortable and gave them ways to entertain themselves. Probably for the best since no Mikaelson did well when they were bored.
She was standing at the bar when a familiar form caught her attention and she arched a brow at the sight. When had he popped up? Oh good, how long until the others started popping up too? She was perfectly fine with Matt or even Stefan showing up (nevermind that he was boring these days) but what if Elena did? Not that she had so much of an issue with the girl either but whatever peace they had never seemed to last very long.
Still, she approached. "Bloody hell, when did you get dragged here?"

A tilt of his head and he tuned in to the Power coming off of her, even as he kept his own tightly leashed. He's not surprised--there's a vampire bar here, after all--but she's the first he's interacted with more than on the surface. Vampires aren't really terribly social with each other back home in large groups, so the bar itself is strange enough to him, let alone the idea of reaching out and meeting the other alpha predators on the islands. Still, he can't help but be curious about their differences--none of the ones he's seen have the same feel as those back home, and she's no exception.
She's beautiful, even though she doesn't look all that pleased to see him. That's interesting--given they're not the only ones here, she can't think he's infringing on her territory. Nothing he's seen has indicated that any of the others have attempted to stake a claim on the place--something incredibly rare back home, anyway, but which he's heard about here and there. There's something familiar in the nature her address, though. Not challenging his right as a vampire to be here, perhaps, but more personal. Even more interesting.
Stepping into the light to meet her--which does nothing to lighten the midnight-blue of his eyes to anything brighter--he gives a slight bow--nothing obsequious or indicator of status so much as how one greeted a lovely lady, once upon a time--and flashes her a charming smile. "Buona sera, signorina. I don't believe I've had the pleasure. Damon Salvatore."
He pronounces it the Italian way, with the fourth syllable--Sal-va-tor-ay--as in (though, for once, he doesn't say the tag aloud) "savior." His accent is faint, but there, on the English, a hint of Old World more than the sound of a new immigrant.

It's interesting because almost immediately she can tell there is something different about Damon. The energy around him is different and the way he is looking at her makes her think he almost doesn't recognize her. That or he is pretending that he doesn't know her but why?
Stopping, she gives him a slightly suspicious look that gains a hint of surprise when he actually bows to her. She is about to ask if he is mocking her somehow but the accent and the way he speaks to her cause her to falter. Her eyes narrow as she steps closer, not caring if she is invading his space a little. She has been in his space quite a few times and rather intimately, so she doesn't think about how he might react.
"What game are you playing, Damon?" She demands in soft tones, studying every part of his face. "You know who I am just like I know who you are."

"I'm sorry, signorina, but I do not know who you are." His smile flashes, though, bright and white. "But I'm certainly amenable to altering that lack."
