Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

[Wandering could basically just be called Annabeth's new hobby now. Thanks, Will. She'd become an expert in how long she had to be out of the house before he'd let her back in. Inevitably it meant wandering toward the docks to see if anyone she knew had shown up yet--she was still holding out that maybe Percy would come back, but she knew better than to get her hopes up. Still, it couldn't hurt to check right?

Aaaaaaaaand nope. That's not possible. She's officially going crazy.]

Bianca?

[Bianca's eyes lit up in recognition when she sees Annabeth, making her way towards her.] Annabeth! You're here too? What's going on?

[yearrounder]

Yeah. Uh. It's a long story. And I'm not entirely sure I'm not crazy. [How is she even supposed to deal with this?]

Does Nico know you're here?

[angelichuntress]

Nico's here too? I haven't seen him... Is anyone else we know also here?

Why would you think you're crazy...?

[yearrounder]

Yeah. Him and Will.

[HOW MUCH DOES SHE SAY THOUGH.]

Uh. A few reasons, actually.

[angelichuntress]

That's good. I'm sure they'd miss each other if they were apart. [She pauses, realizing what she just said as what Annabeth said sinks in more.] ... Oh. There's... no one else? Just you three? [Now her expression looks sympathetic.]

[yearrounder]

Yeah. [She hadn't mentioned that on purpose. Of course she'd notice anyway.] Well. Now you too, I guess. Percy was here for a while, but he left.

[angelichuntress]

I'm sorry, Annabeth... How long have you been here? Isn't there a way to get back?

[yearrounder]

Uh...almost a year, I think. And no. Not that we can use, anyway. People just kind of. Vanish.

[angelichuntress]

Oh. I never noticed you missing... I know I'm not at camp a lot, but I'm sure I would have heard something if you, Will, or Nico were gone that long... [She would be very upset if someone didn't tell her her brother was missing for months.]

[yearrounder]

Uh. Yeah. I guess so. [What even is she supposed to say about that.] It's...mostly okay I guess. Or it was when I left.

[angelichuntress]

That's good to hear. I'm glad. [She's definitely picking up on and feeling the awkwardness...]

[yearrounder]

Partly. Nobody died but the last I heard the dining pavilion had been crushed.

[angelichuntress]

Oh. Did something happen?

[yearrounder]

Something about a giant statue. I wasn't there for it. Nico might know.

[angelichuntress]

[She wonders if this is a 'usual craziness of Camp Half-Blood' or 'something attacked the camp' situation. Either way, she does look a bit concerned as she nods.] He's still staying there, right?

[yearrounder]

As far as I know. I've been in Boston for a bit.

Well okay I've been here, but before I was here I was in Boston.
