Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

1. Getting Started - Chapter Six Bookstore

BOOKS! While Sunset didn't have quite as a fixation on them, it was definitely appreciated. The smell of musty tomes, the filtered light from the storefront into the deep recesses of a bookstore with hidden gems. Ah, it was paradise. And here was Sunset, looking through several books, flipping through a couple before placing them into her basket. There was plenty for her to read up on, and this store had a lot of things in place. "Wow, I didn't notice this was here..."

"It was under E," laughed Sunset as she placed it into her basket as well.


3. Party!

While it wasn't a Pinkie Party, Sunset was definitely more comfortable in the revelry. There was plenty to see, and lots to do as she mingled with the people who were hosting it. Her vibrant colors stood out in the sea of skin colors, and she was dressed in a pretty green outfit that set off well against her orange skin and bright hair.

Taking a cup of punch, she sniffed it for a moment, her nose faintly noting the level of alcohol in the liquid. "Well, that's not bad," she murmured, sipping it.

Whoever decided she was too old for the children's housing chose well, since Sunset still felt much older than most of her peers, despite her youthful enthusiasm.


5. Wild Card - Music

Sunset had picked up an amp and had plugged in her guitar. She hadn't gotten a job yet, and wanted to reclaim something along the lines of her sushi cart, but for now, she was busking. So, she started to strum a popular song from her world, drawing a crowd and earning some coins. Maybe come watch?

"Oh, let me see!"

And there was Twilight -- the Twilight more scientifically-inclined, not the princess -- zipping up to Sunset, a large stack of books in her arms. There was still so much she had to learn and having Sunset around with her was a major boon. The book she had was certainly a great curiosity, though, especially with what was written.

"'Elements of Harmony'?"

"Yeah, it's a reference guide to the six Elements of Harmony that are from Equestria. There's not much that I don't already know, but I can get it so that you can read it over." Replied Sunset as she opened the book and gestured to it.

"This one seems like it's updated though, more recently than before. It's talking about a magic tree where the Elements came from."

"Oh, wow..." Twilight uttered, leaning in to look over the book, accidentally getting into Sunset's comfort zone as she did. "Kind of reminds me of what we dealt with at camp..."

It's okay, what's a comfort zone with Pinkie Pie around? She let Twilight peer over onto the book and she shifted it over so that she could look at it too.

"Actually come to think about it, these crystals we're wearing are kind of like little miniature Elements. Which begs to wonder what's mine? I mean, you have Magic, Rainbow Dash has Loyalty, Applejack Honesty, Fluttershy and Pinkie have Kindness and Laughter, and Rarity has Generosity. So what's mine?"

"Oh, that's... that's a good question." Twilight said, pulling back and looking at Sunset. "And if you have a seventh, maybe there's another back in the other Twilight's world..."

"Maybe... but maybe mine is an all new Element. I mean, think about it for a moment."

Flipping to a page that depicted the tree with the symbols embedded into it, a recent photograph from P Pie in the edition, she tapped it. "You can see cutie marks there, and Celestia, Luna and yours Twilight. Which means, I might be the first of a brand new wave of Elements. I wonder if it's tied to my Empathy?"

"It just might. Which means there's probably other emotion Elements out there." Twilight said. "But, there's so many kinds of emotions and..."

She stopped and shuddered a moment. "S-Sorry, I got carried away and my mind wandered. I'm still trying to get used to the magic I have."

"Well... it's not vengeance that's for sure. I'm not that far gone," said Sunset with a smirk. "But at the same time, you've worked well with your magic. I'm proud of you."

She gave Twilight a light squeeze on the shoulders with her free arm.

"Thanks, Sunset. I owe a lot for what you've done for me." Twilight admitted, smiling bashfully.

"It's mostly paying it forward, but I enjoy helping you out, Twilight." admitted Sunset with a little grin.

"Your place or mine after this? I feel like kicking back with tea and a good book."

"Yours, if that's okay." Twilight admitted. "My home is... a little messy." And she sheepishly grins at that.

"Don't tell me you've turned it into one giant lab already?" asked Sunset, a little concerned for her friends safety in her usual hazard zones, and doubly amused at Twilight being the mad scientist she was.

"Not bad," came a voice from behind Sunset. "Could use a little--- Sunset?" Huh, how about that.

Dash smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. "How long have you been here?"

"Rainbow Dash!" Oh okay you're getting a hug as Sunset grinned.

"A couple of days tops. I just found the music store and got the urge to play music. And busk. I need to find a job. How long have you been here?"

[goalriff]

"Oof." Dash's arms are promptly pinned between the two of them. Awkward. She hadn't seen that hug coming, but really should have. She steps back a bit to get her arms out and around Sunset. "You girls have turned me into a sap." Honestly though, she's happy to see a familiar face.

"A day. My motorcycle ended up here too along with my guitar." She's just grinning. "You got yours?"

"The good kind of sap I hope," laughed Sunset as she held up her fist for a good old fashioned fist bump.

"Same here, got my cycle and got my guitar, and my book. Though I can't get a message out to Princess Twilight so I don't think there's a portal to Equestria here." Said Sunset, gesturing to her pack which had the book sticking out of it.

"I got my magic though. That's good."

[goalriff]

"Duh," she pulls back and and returns the fist bump.

"Have you looked for a portal?"

She raises one of her hands to close around the necklace around her neck. "I still got my super speed." A huge grin. "Any other of our friends here?"

[shimmer_on]

"I've looked. I've checked out some stuff and I heard that there's something to do with the statues here, but I haven't looked further. I want to see if Twilight's got any gadget whipped up before I do." said Sunset with a shrug.

"Twilight, as I said before. Nothing else, but we're the only people from our world I think. I'm pretty sure that rainbow colored people isn't common here."

[goalriff]

"Let me guess, she's turned her house into a science lab?" Half-teasing, half-curious. But knowing their world's Twilight...

"You wanna take a break? I'm starving."

[shimmer_on]

"First chance she got, she raided the junkyard and we hauled a wheelbarrow of stuff back. Twilight's moved in with me so that she's not sleeping in piles of electronics." Replied Sunset with a knowing grin.

"Sure, there's a great cafe on this island."

[goalriff]

That gets a laugh out of Rainbow Dash. She's not at all surprised. "Say, we can turn my house into a studio to practice. If you and Twilight wouldn't mind a third roommate." Idea just struck her.

"Lead the way."

[shimmer_on]

"Hey, not a problem. I'm going to have to find another bed though, Twi and I are sharing right now." laughed Sunset. "Why don't we just all sleep in one bed? It's like a sleepover."

"Awesome, lets go."

[goalriff]

"That'll... be a tight fight," she snickers, though it wouldn't be the first time from the amount of sleepovers Pinkie Pie's thrown.

She keeps in step with Sunset, unsure of where to go for now.

"Yeah, I might have to buy a new bed instead of three," laughed Sunset.

The cafe is a nice place, a little hole in the wall as she gestured to it. "It's got the greatest food here."
