Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Re: Walking Around

[oopsimaranger]

Ziggy's mouth opened incredulously as the bag was easily snatched from his hands.

"Hey." He tried to grab the bag back only to realize that it was Dillin. "I just got here. When did you get here?"

Dillon was keeping the bag in a tight grip, pulling out a yellow lollipop before throwing the bag back to Ziggy. "Coupla months," he answered with a shrug. He glanced around the islands. "Bigger than Corinth, they've got that going for them." It's not a particularly shining comment on the place, but it's not an outright condemnation either. "There's other Rangers here," he added, bored, before starting on the snack he stole from Ziggy's loot.

Ziggy caught the bag with a disgruntled groan. He knew when to pick his battles and Dillon was totally welcomed to that Lollipop.

"Other Rangers? Like..." He pulled his sucker from his mouth with a pop. "Wait, you mean other teams​?"

Dillon nodded. "Met a couple. Only one knows about me being a Ranger," there's a smirk on his face. "Apparently he's not pleased with it being a work-release deal." There's a huff of laughter as he starts on the sucker. He liked the sour flavours.

"I don't think that he'd be happy to meet me then." He didn't really want to make enemies with other Rangers. He had enough enemies.

Ziggy's lollipop was lemon flavored and delicious.

"So what now? Is there a reason we're on floating islands." He'd first thought that he'd done something with trying to teleport. Ziggy was silently thankful to have another member of the Rangers here.

Ziggy... probably has got that right. Dillon's not going to say that because he does have some tact, even if he prefers not using it. He gives a shrug though. "Been some light show in the sky. No one knows what's causing it."

He began to focus on the lollipop, flicking it over in his mouth with his tongue.

"Light show? Like fireworks or spot lights? Doesn't sound too bad." Sounds a little bit fun if he was being honest with himself though he knew that it was probably something bad. If not, who knows, maybe he'll finally be able to play a musical instrument.

"More like some new star system?"

Not really, but that's the best way Dillon can think of describing it. Possibly because he doesn't know how else to, but let's not think on that. Also he won't be held responsible for breaking any instrument Ziggy annoys him with

"That sounds a lot farther than I'm used too." His voice cracked as he spoke and he took a moment to cough and clear his throat.

"I don't think I can teleport us back home then."

Not saying Ziggy might not try it but it will most definately not work.

Dillon nods, having already suspected this.

"Don't know how much charge the morphers have," he said carefully. The implication of his words was clear: don't waste it.

"Ah, right. Well, can't we just find a way to recharge them?" Like plugging those suckers into a wall or something. Ziggy really didn't know how they worked.

"Wait, does that mean there are things to fight here? Dillon?" Totally not worried except he was.

"Not seen anything yet." It's an honest answer, if a little vague.

[oopsimaranger]

"Ahhh." Ziggy didn't look like he was particularly filled with confidence.

"So you're saying... we're stuck and we don't know what's going on." He paused. "Great. Just great." He was clearly not happy about it.

"So what? We have all the time in the world. Just doing whatever we want until something attacks." Another pause. "I guess that isn't much different from normal." He flicked his lollipop in his mouth. "At least they have candy. And you know, I could get used to a place without super robots but do they have pizza or smoothies or... you know, important stuff."

They had a candy store which was the most important.

"We work," Dillon said. "We play. We... go about like this is normal." He gave a shrug. "They've got bars, so I'm pretty sure they've got pizza." And smoothies. Though to be honest it wasn't as much fun seeing Ziggy make a smoothie without Flynn glowering in the background because his smoothie time always got interrupted by a Venjix-bot attack.

Ziggy didn't like Dillons answer though it couldn't really be helped. His mouth gaped open before snapping shut. "Right. Let's go get some pizza then." It'll be something normal in this place.

"Lead the way."

[seriesblack]

Dillon gave a nod, and lead to where he knew there was decent pizza. "Won't be like that place you like."

"How'd you know that's what I was thinking about?" Ziggy padded behind Dillon, his lips tugging into a confused frown.

"Because you mention that place all the time." It's surprisingly non-sarcastic though the tired tone of voice probably explains it all.

[oopsimaranger]

"While that is true, I never thought you listened." Ziggy was sure that most people tuned him out. Sometimes they didn't even try to hide it and they'd just turn and walk away.

[seriesblack]

"I don't," he smirks, "but stuff sticks."

[oopsimaranger]

"Ouch. But!" He exclaimed with a bright smile. "That means if I say something enough you'll listen!"

Always a bright side.

[seriesblack]

"..." Damn, he knew there was a reason he never mentioned that before.

[oopsimaranger]

Ziggy bounded next to Dillon, his step excited and eager as they headed to get food.

"Oh, hey, How do we pay for stuff here?" It's sort of important.

"Money."

[oopsimaranger]

"Okay, yeah, that's everywhere but how to we get that." Ziggy had left his criminal days behind him but he wasn't really good at anything. He spent most of his life fucking up one job or another.
