Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? ~~Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands~~.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

[Andros left his mouth hanging open for a few moments before his brain caught up with him and he remembered the video was live. He closed his mouth.]

You're a Power Ranger?

[He spoke slowly and unbelievably because...well....he didn't really strike him as Ranger material. If it was up to him....well...this guy was bragging about it.]

Still getting used to stuff but at least everything is where it should be. Except for us I guess.

[Andros can't quite believe what's coming out of this guys mouth. He's actually a Power Ranger. Who would make him a Ranger? He wanted to cover his head with his hands and sigh. At the very least he had self confidence issues, and it sounded like issues....with Rangering? Who makes someone a Ranger without the skills set behind it?]

The suit augments your own abilities and skills for the most part. You need to focus on those strengths. What exactly are you having trouble with?

[.....this was exactly why they had training on KO-35. The Karovans had this thing down. Happens when Evil wont stop trying to wipe out your species]

Why not start with what I'm really good at?

[He flashes his charmming boyish grin.]

Shadow puppets!

What are shadow puppets? [Asks the guy who didn't know what a banana was or that you had to peel it first]

That's not exactly what I had in mind for defeating evil. I don't think your suit can augment that.....whatever it is. Unless it's some kind of fighting style?

[Ziggy places down the phone and then backs up so he can show the guy.]

You know, shadow puppets.

[Andros stared at the shadow puppet for a few moments before recovering.]

And that's.....useful in battle?

No, not really but you never know when you'll need fantastic shadow puppets.

Right....you might want to work on another skill. One that might help you in battle.

That suit can't protect you from everything.

[The suit doesn't really protect Ziggy from anything.]

You know, as things come up.

[Andros looked at him for a little bit, trying to come up with the polite way to say 'you're an idiot']

I've been a ranger for years. Trust me when I say that's not going to work. It's going to get you hurt. Or bring down the team. And that will get them hurt.

[Ziggy is used to getting called an idiot among many other, more colorful, names.]

I've only been a ranger for a couple of days.

[He really doesn't want to hurt his friends...]

I can get better.

Good. Do. Train, learn. Because if you don't, both your team and those you protect are going to suffer.

[Andros at least tried to be polite now. Ashley meanwhile was probably happy as long as he remembered to say please and thank you.]

[He doesn't sound all that confident.]

I guess I'll have to see if any of my team is here.. wherever here is.

I don't know your team, but they might be. There's some rangers from different teams here.

[Oh look, Andros can still lead and be a not crap red ranger]

Besides, you're still a ranger. No matter if your team isn't here, you're part of a family now.

Is that how that works? I don't know. See, I always thought that there would be more loops in it than that. Like what if different teams but same colors? Green meet green? That's weird.

Also do you have those explosions behind you too? I'm still really curious about that.

[Andros laughed. Be grateful Ziggy, he didn't do it that often.]

Actually most colors tend to get along. Before I got here I was helping out another team of Rangers. I got along with their red just fine.

[That teamup hadn't ended well, but at least they all left on good terms, wishing they could help their counterparts more. As for Ziggy, he was a little new wasn't he? It would be almost cute if it wasn't so dangerous]

And yes, the explosions happen. Not often, but they do. Usually when there's a lot of rangers in one place. That much concentrated energy has to go somewhere.

yeah but it's like every time.

[He pauses.]

Wait, you've met a lot of other rangers. Should I call you red leader mark 2 or something?

Uh no...no I don't normally get explosions.

[That was interesting. And something he'd never experienced before. As far as he knew the other rangers he'd met didn't either...As for the name, Andros gave Ziggy a look. He was definitely new. Or maybe that was a thing where he was from? Weird.]

Why would you do that? I'm Andros....you don't have to call me by my color.

Now that I know your name I'll call you by that.

[He'd just learned Andro's color first.]

I'm going to have to see this because there are definately explosions with my suit... Wait. How do you have a suite? Does your... home [He flails a hand before looking back at the screen.] have someone like Dr. K?

Good.

[he could understand calling a Ranger by their color if secrecy was needed, but.....okay, no he didn't really understand that. He was still getting used to the fact that Earth was a backward planet and most Rangers identities were secret....and the consequences of those actions.It was annoying.]

My planet's had rangers for years. KO-35 is one of the original ranger planets. Who is Dr. K?

[Their identities weren't a secret which is fine, even when it causes problems.]

[He's been trained not to call it spandex.]

[It was probably a good idea not to call it spandex to Andros too. Good work Dr. K.]

Oh. Our connection to the Morphing Grid was created years ago, under the guidance of Zordon. I don't suppose you know who that is? But if your Dr. K created Rangers without any guidance or knowledge of the Grid......I'm impressed.
