Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? ~~Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands~~.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Whoa, she didn't expect that! Leafa twisted around and rolled back, the punch grazing her cheek. She de-equipping her weapon as she rolled to get it out of Beat's hands and re-materialized it back in her hands.

"I did not expect that."

"I have to make the most of what I have." Beat admitted. "Though I guess I do cheat a bit - I used to be a cat. Long story."

"There's a story for later," chuckled Leafa as she went in for a flurry of short swings with her weapon.

Okay, that was a little too much, forcing Beat to bob and weave through the swings. They do get in decent hits, scratching at her costume, now showing scuff marks. One duck ends up getting the blade through her hair, the hairtie getting stuck on the blade as her hair fell loose but not damaging her hair at all.

Whoop, she caught her there for a moment. But at least her weapon was protecting her.

Falling back, Leafa prepared for Beat's attacks. With those two statuses laying over her class, it would be quite the duel.

With a battle cry, Beat pushed off, heading towards Leafa and unleashing a flurry of punches at her.

Whoa okay whoa! Leafa dodged a couple but took several hits, her HP dropping sharply from the impact. One of the blows knocked her to her backside and she rolled to lessen the impact.

"Wow..."

Beat winced as Leafa took those hits. "A-Are you okay?" she asked, worried that she might have hurt her friend badly.

"I'll live," said Leafa, getting up and accessing her inventory to chug a potion. "That was some hit. I don't think I could have dealt with another. Is that what you do, just hit things really hard or are there more attacks you can do?"

"I got more." Beat said, summoning a guitar-like weapon. "BEAT ARROW!" Strumming the guitar, she summoned a set of magical arrows and fired them at Leafa.

Parrying a couple of shots, Leafa was buffered by the arrow impacts. Unlike the punches, these didn't drop her HP as sharply, but her healing passive kicked in and her HP began to rise again. "Awesome. That was quite the hit!"

"I do have a stronger attack, but I don't think I want to hit you with that - I never tried it on another human before." Beat admitted. It was a purifying attack, really, but she never used it on anyone else.

"And what about you?"

"I have magic. Mostly a mix of offensive and defensive magic." Replied Leafa, holding out her hand.

She chanted as a ring of words filtered up and combined into a healing word, giving Beat a nice heal.

Beat let out a soft sigh as she felt the effect take hold. It felt really good. "Would you like to try them out on me? You might be able to get in a good hit."

Oh, she's feeling fired up now. She hasn't had so much fun like this before!

"I know just the one!"

Chanting, she targeted Beat as she proclaimed, "Thunder Web!"

A spell meant to stop an opponent in their tracks for a brief moment.

"Thunder wha--?"

Beat was caught off-guard as the spell struck, sticking her in place, giving Leafa a chance to fight back.

"Hah!" And Leafa struck with her strongest attack, hoping to push Beat back a little with its force.

Beat yelped as she was blown back by the force, stumbling to her knees and losing her weapon.

"That... that was good..." That hurt, too, if the small gash formed on the side of her costume was any indication.

"I wouldn't have gotten the hit in if it weren't for magic though," said Leafa, casting a healing spell.

"So, you use magic and physical attacks together, too..." Beat said, getting back to her feet. She takes notice of the cut on her costume, causing her to smile a bit.

"Yeah but I can't take a hit like you can," said Leafa as she released her form as well, pulling a VR headset from her face to reveal a girl with chocolate brown eyes and short hair dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans. "Oh this is my real form too. I guess when I got here, I could sort of "plug in" into my game form. I'm Suguha."

Beat finally returned to normal, smiling as she approached Leafa. "I'm Ellen... so I guess you're a magical girl, too, huh?"

There's a giggle as she said that.

"Kinda?" Replied Suguha as she tucked her gear under her arm. "Normally I'd be plugging into a virtual experience, but I guess this allows me to play the game in real life. Instead of diving into a new virtual world."

"Oh, I see..." Ellen said. "Would... you rather be Leafa or be Suguha?"

"Probably Suguha like this, and Leafa when I'm in my fairy mode," said Leafa, placing the device back onto her face. A ring of light played over her as she changed into the blonde girl with elven ears.
