Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Mostly looking around," said Kamala almost in an absent tone as she looked around the city blocks. "This place is a hodgepodge of other worlds, and I really wanted to check it out."

Gesturing towards the Institute in the distance Kamala asked, "Is that really the X-men Mansion? It looks a lot different than the Jean Grey Institute but then again, that place has blown up like six times already..."

"It's..." He starts to answer, then is distracted by something else she said. "Jean started her own school?" No one has mentioned that yet, but then again, the Jean they know is hardly old enough to be past being a student herself.

[ms_perfection]

"Ah well..." How to explain that it's only in name only and the current Jean Grey was still a teenager after being yanked from the past to the future?

"It's in her name. Logan, Wolverine named it after her, after the... uh... six, seven times by now it's been destroyed? Time was not friendly to it. It's the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning now last I checked."

"Logan." There's a name he hadn't expected to hear (unless he's talking about his cat). "Logan is associated with a school?" Admittedly they hadn't known each other for that long (from his perspective, at least), but Logan didn't really seem like the type to be associated with a building intended to teach others.

"He runs it," said Kamala with a nod. "He's one of the founders of the new Jean Grey Institute. He's got a long association with him."

"I'm guessing you know of Logan?"

"He runs a school?" Charles is the sort who's good at running a school. He never got an impression like that from Logan. It would be like him running a school.

"I know of him."

[ms_perfection]

"He's learned a lot," admitted Kamala with a light grin. "He's pretty much the Go-To with a lot of things. I guess he wouldn't have learned a lot without Charles Xavier though."

"Oh, I'm being rude. I'm Kamala Khan, I'm from Jersey."

"Charles does like teaching people." Erik can't deny that Charles is good at it, too, when it's something someone else wants to be taught. The problems come in when Charles thinks someone else should be learning and isn't.

He doesn't suppose he can hide it forever. If she knows Charles and Logan, she's probably at least heard his name, too. "Erik Lehnsherr." Not from New Jersey.

Whelp. Yeah, she knows who you are Erik. "A-ah, I see." Nervousness aside, Kamala nodded. "I know of you too. You're um, Magneto. And I have to admit I didn't expect Magneto but then I saw Steve and Tony and you look a bit different than the one I know of since he's old and grey and uh... can I get an autograph?"

There are are lot of things to make it through in that statement, especially the part about being old and grey (although at least he survives long enough to become that way?) but there's really only one part that he's focusing on right now. The rest of it doesn't seem so important. "A what?"

"Um, well I don't have anything for an autograph I mean I could take a selfie with you but I dunno how you'd want to do that I mean... sorry, it's just that I've never met you, before, I mean in my world," babbled Kamala, feeling sheepish she asked Magneto of all people to be a part of something trendy.

[frankensteinian]

"You could always find me later, when you do have something that would work." Unless she thinks he's going to hide from her or something.

[ms_perfection]

"Yeah I'll do that, I mean, it's a cool thing you're okay with it cause older you would probably not be that open to it and here I am comparing things and yeah."

Kamala blushed, rubbing her head sheepishly.

[frankensteinian]

"I don't how to explain that, but I suppose it's a good thing that I'm not like him then." An older version of himself. That's strange, and it makes him wonder what might still happen that would change him. "Perhaps when we changed the future, we did more than prevent the slaughter of untold numbers of mutants."

[ms_perfection]

"That would probably be the best outcome," said Kamala. It was before her time after all considering everything.

[frankensteinian]

"Not just for the mutants who didn't end up dying." He's sure they would appreciate that, if they knew about it.

[ms_perfection]

"If you can't save the little people, who can you save?" agreed Kamala with a nod.

[frankensteinian]

"That's one way of putting it." It's the one they're going with right now, anyway.
