Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? ~~Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands~~.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Tony...did not remember much of Bern. That was probably not much of a surprise, considering. But this was at least someone from home, so he was inclined to be nice. Niceish. He tried.

"This place? It's called Medietas," he said with a vague gesture at their surroundings. "No one knows how we got here or how to get back and it makes no logical sense. Welcome," he added with a lopsided smile.

"Fortunately for you I specialize in things that make no logical sense," Strange said, returning Stark's smile. He could appreciate Stark's frustration, having been a man of science himself. But since then his world had been... expanded to include the sorts of things that didn't make logic sense.

"Now, if you'll just stand back," Strange said, his cloak flowing out behind him as he began to levitate. He spread his hands out wide and began to use his ring, moving it in circles as... absolutely nothing happened. It only took a moment for him to realize it wasn't going to work and he sank back to the ground. "Usually that doesn't happen..."

Okay, as much of a blur as Bern was, he was pretty sure he wouldn't have forgotten...that. Tony's eyebrows flew up, but he did take the requested step back. He was getting enough practice with weird stuff to know that they definitely shouldn't be interfered with.

Of course, when nothing happened, the eyebrows hiked a bit higher. "What exactly were you aiming for? Because it was a pretty good light show."

"Normally that opens up a portal to another location or dimension. Hmmm, worrisome," Strange said with a frown. His cloak still worked so magic was possible here but something was blocking his access to other dimensions. Strange flicked his wrists and his shields appeared, which was a relief. Waving them off he decided to try one last thing.

He slammed his hand down onto the ground as he made the incantation, the world around them shattering like a mirror for a moment before reforming.

"Well, at least most things work properly."

"Uh...huh," Tony said, trying not to look as unnerved as he felt. He'd been around Thor's general weirdness, he could handle that. Loki had been a little more unsettling, for the brief amount of time he'd had to deal with that weirdness, but at least he could just kick the guy,

This was something else entirely. "Like I said. No one can get out. And people have been trying, believe me."

"Yes, well, some people are very limited in what they can do," Strange said matter-of-factly. He could hardly throw stones at those people since he used to be one of them, no matter how great a surgeon he had been. He wondered if Mr. Stark felt the same way about his life prior to the injury to his chest. Strange didn't miss the parallels.

"Let me try one more thing, Mr. Stark. I suggest you hold on to something," he advised before he started to fold the world around them. Streets suddenly went up or down at sharp angles, the ocean ahead of them suddenly becoming a ceiling above them. That was good, if the mirror dimension worked here then it was possible to trap things that were overly dangerous. He let the spell dissipate and they returned to the "real" world. "I suppose if your Avengers were able to rescue you they would have done so by now?"

"What the fu--" Tony started as the entire world started going all Inception on him, only to go immediately back to normal. He staggered a little and stared at the guy more than a little wild eyed. "...the hell was that?"

"Not hell. Just the mirror dimension," he said, for the first time fully turning his attention to Mr. Stark. It seemed that the other man was right, there was no immediate way out of the place. This might require a bit more research but not right now

"Since I am trapped here for the moment I don't suppose you happen to know a good place to get a drink around here?"

"...sure?" Tony stared. Maybe someday he'd actually get an explanation for anything that was going on here. "There are plenty of bars. But first maybe you can tell me who they hell you are?"

"Doctor Stephen Strange, sorcerer. Of the Earth realm I suppose I should add," he said, relieved that at least he'd be able to get a drink around here. Of course paying for it might get tricky but Stark was a billionaire, wasn't he?

"Strange." He wasn't kidding. "Okay. So, drink?" It kind of seemed like they were both going to need it.

"Just point me in the right direction," Strange said, running a hand through his hair. He supposed if anyone would know where to get a good drink it would be Tony Stark.

"What are the natives here like? What species?"

"Human," Tony said with a shrug. "I mean, as far as I can tell. And then everyone else who's fallen in here from whatever times and universes." Which was weird enough, but Strange seemed to be handling everything well. Which, considering the nonsense he'd just pulled, Tony was willing to bet the guy had seen way weirder.

"But there's pretty much a bar or a pub or whathaveyou on every island. Walk far enough and you'll run into one."
