Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!
5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

She reached out and grabbed the things teeth to try and stop it from swallowing her. It's lower jaw sank into her right leg but she swallowed the cry. It'll heal.
"HEY! PLEASE SHOOT THIS THING!" Freya shouted but she didn't know if Jyn could hear her. Either way her focus was on not getting eaten and as strong as she was, she couldn't hold it's jaw open forever.

The most she can do is ready her blaster, wait for the opportune moment to strike - hope that it doesn't end up in the untimely and unfortunate death of the unsuspecting blonde who'd swept in to show the creature a thing or two.
Freya's words pierce Jyn's ears, and in an instant, she lets loose a series of shots in the creature's eye, sprinting to get to a different angle to allow herself to attack the roof of the head's mouth. She's a good enough shot that she isn't worried about accidentally striking Freya; she's never once hit a civilian in all her years of war. She has no intention of starting now.
She manages to land one shot inside the creature's mouth, causing it to fall forward, lifeless like its siblings.
"One left," she mutters, racing back in closer. Once within range, she scrambles her way up one of the vanquished heads and reaches Freya. "Surviving?"

"I'm good." She pushed her hair back, her chin tilting up to look at the last one. "It's freaking out. Should I play bait again or do you just want to shoot it from here? I'm pretty sure it's about to-" Before Freya finished speaking the head charged at them. "Yup."
She could move quickly if she needed to but she wouldn't leave Jyn's side. If anything she'd pull the girl with her but she wanted to give her time to shoot it.

"Might as well," she says, raising the blaster to quickly line up the shot. It almost feels as though she's waiting too long, delaying too much - but it's all a part of her approach. She doesn't want to risk the dead weight falling on top of them when it's killed, so she waits for the right moment to strike, one that will allow them enough breathing room to not have to worry about being flattened.
Seemingly at the last moment, Jyn squeezes the trigger of her blaster and pew, pew, two shots are fired - first one eye, then the other. With a dying shriek, the lifeless head falls onto the beach, sending a tidal wave of sand back from the shore. She lowers her weapon, then glances over to Freya, extending a hand to lift her off of the ground.

"Nice pew-pew-ing. That was fun. I'll probably see you around but I need a shower and to change." She also wanted to check out her leg because it still hurt despite the fact that he shoulder had healed. Freya needed to make sure that there wasn't anything wrong with it that might compliment her rapid healing.

There was sand everywhere.
