Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Lyndon hazarded a glance in her direction as he came down hard at his side and he risked, without thinking too much on it, chancing a reach into his hip bag, pulling a vial of glowing red liquid from it's depths. The small bottle was roughly the size of one's palm, and the liquid within swirled and glittered with internal light. He held the bottle out to the down to the girl earnestly.

"Here. Drink this. It'll make you feel better, at least until the nasty one stops moving." He didn't wait for a response.

While no mage by any means, even the least sensitive to the flows of magic were capable of mustering a minor trick or two, and that's what Lyndon did, willing the wisps of arcane energy flowing from the waters of the lake into a shroud of shadow, shifting him for a few seconds into imperceptibility. As the world swirled around him through the arcane screen, he moved to the other side of the creature, effectively moving to flank it, and chambered three bolts into the specialized chamber of his crossbow as he did so. The next motion came as the arcane field he'd summoned faded, bringing the world rushing back to his senses in full color. He loosed a bolt at the three nearest eyes of the three nearest heads in rapid succession.

"Ha! And then there were four! Your move, miss!"

Marie took the bottle and drank it's contents quickly. Hindsight, trusting a strange was foolish but there was no way that she'd be able to help him while hurt. She quickly felt her fatigue and ache in her limbs fade as she stood to face the creature.

She tried to move as he did however he was much faster than she was. Her daggers flicked in her palms and as she stepped forward she flung one at the head that was turning to attack Lyndon. The blade sank into it's eye, similarly to Lyndon's crossbow causing the head to shiver and fall to the ground.

With only one dagger Marie used both of her hands pour strength into her strike as another head darted in her direction. She moved quickly, using the part of her that was inhuman to dodge and land on the head that had been attacking her. Her blade sank into it's skull, positioned directly between the eyes. Her attention remained on the last head while she held onto the hilt of her blade.

She didn't much care about the daggers, they could always be replaced but her vantage point was much better from the sky as the head she was on continued to thrash around, it's death a lot slower than the others.

Lyndon hadn't survived literally hundreds of demonic attacks at the crusader's side by being slow, even with a heavy crossbow. Every time he'd loosed a bolt, he'd immediately cranked the string back, knotting another. The process took precious seconds, but it was the primary reason he needed someone to distract the beast while he armed his crossbow.

He leveled the sight of the crossbow at the roaring mouth of the head on which Marie had found herself, waiting for just the right moment, and loosed the bolt into it's gaping maw. It struck home true and the head fell down to the ground. So encumbered, the last head shouldn't prove too much of a problem.

Lyndon laughed. "Ha! Did you see that shot?! Let's finish it off!"

Marie tumbled when the head she was riding crashed to the ground. Her movements quickly brought her to her feat, her dagger in hand, ripped from the Hydra's skull. She glanced over at Lyndon before turning her shoulders towards the final head.

She then flipped the dagger in her palm and threw it at the beasts eye. It sank into the soft flesh and the creature roared. She'd leave finishing it off to Lyndon and his cross bow.
