Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Gone," Raven repeated dubiously. "I've never seen you with your power just gone." She wasn't going to comment on whether or not he'd used his powers for slightly more dubious reasons. Flirting with fellow students had taken up a great deal of his time when they'd been younger. Getting him to stay out of her head after she'd hit puberty had taken up a great deal of hers. They both had their crosses to bear.

She narrowed her eyes. "You're wondering if I'm really Raven. Maybe you're the one who's not who you say you are. Why am I supposed to believe that you're really Charles Xavier?"

Her heart said one thing, but she'd long since learned not to trust her heart when it came to Charles. Her heart was what always seemed to get her in trouble when it came to Erik and Charles had known her longer. Maybe not better, but they had a shared history that was dangerous.

"Believe me, my dear," He said sadly. "I would prefer it not be." He wasn't going to mention that she would find herself not being able to change form.

Charles knew his sister well, even if she is loathed to admit it. He can understand why she is so resistant to believe him. He was always much more trusting than either her or Erik.

"So ask me something that only Charles Xavier would know?"

She thought about all of the things she could ask. Things that would prove just what he did or didn't know about what had been going through her mind when she left since he'd claimed to not always stay out of her head as he'd promised. But that would be reopening an old wound, one scarred over from time and distance. And even if she'd needed those answers, this wasn't the time or place to dig into something like that.

"Who was I pretending to be the very first time we met?"

She'd told Erik this story and, by extension, possibly Emma, but neither were in a position to have shared that even if there'd been a reason. But there was a possibility that someone who knew what she could do could guess. It wasn't like there'd been a bevy of adult figured in Charles' life. So she added the next question.

"And what did I offer to get you to go back to bed?"

Charles smiled at the memory, grateful that Raven had chosen that instead of the myriad of other things that she could ask. "My mother, and you offered me hot chocolate. I knew it wasn't you because my mother would never offer such things."

He looked off to the side before looking back. "You couldn't have known how neglected I was though. Believe me?"

"Probably best that you saw through me. I'm not sure I'd have been able to make the cup when pressed." It wasn't like she'd exactly been the type of child who had hot chocolate all the time. She'd been lucky to scrounge up what food she could. Lucky that she hadn't been caught out sooner than she had with Charles. They might not have been able to see through her, like Charles had, but she could still have come face to face with the person she was pretending to be.

"Believe I am who I say I am, or are you going to have to question me?"
