Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

He was silent as he took everything in, but some of her words stuck with him. Biddable. Bile rose in his throat as he thought about it, and his expression would have given him away had he not schooled it into a far more neutral expression quickly. What had he walked into if this woman felt that whoever was in charge here was keeping the people who arrived 'biddable'?

"No space vessels? Truly? Are there any other forms of transport?" That truly meant they were stuck if there was no way to get off the planet. Was that what they wanted? Bring people here, abandon them, and do what with them? This was a lot to take in at once.

He winced slightly as he resettled himself on his crutches. He hated to show weakness in front of anyone, but he'd left the clinic too early, unsurprisingly. He wasn't going to lie about all day when he could be out finding information - and what he'd learned proved that he had been correct. He gave a flash of a smile. "Oh I'm fairly technologically adept." Certainly enough to reprogramme Imperial Droids, and to do whatever the Rebellion ever needed him to. "Perhaps I should make contact with them." Not a question. Definitely a statement of intent.

"Off planet? No. There are ways to travel around the island, although they vary. Some do arrive with their own transport." It hadn't been one of Padmé's items though, either with her initial arrival, or more recently. Then again, what would she really do with her vessel? It would likely be more for decoration here, at least for now.

"You would at least be able to ask what it is that they have tried, although not everything translates quite the same here. There are many from a planet called Earth." Although she paused, as he may well be from there. It seems that the majority truly are but she also knows that that planet can be quite varied.

He frowned slightly. Earth was a planet he'd never visited, so he didn't know where it was. Why would a lot of people be from it? Did it have some kind of significance he didn't know about? He thought he knew a lot about all the planets and moons, he didn't like not knowing. "I don't know it," he admitted, and decided to try something. "I'm from Fest." A densely populated planet, but with not much to recommend it to anyone else. He didn't care who knew he was from there - he hadn't been back since he was six.

"Fest?" Her brows furrowed and her thoughts turned inward, trying to grasp why there was that little niggling feeling at the back of her mind. There was something, Padmé thought, that was vaguely familiar about that name. "It... is an Outer Rim planet, isn't it?"

Although chances were just as likely that it happened to be nothing of the sort. This place did have its little quirks, for there were many people from the planet called Earth, and yet there were many different Earths. The same would, therefore, apply to other planets.

Cassian nodded carefully, watching the woman as she tried to work out where Fest was. Given all she had said, he was surprised to actually hear her mention the Outer Rim.

This was interesting, and it meant that she was someone to watch - and get to know. Who knew just where her sympathies lay, and right now Cassian was working with no information. "It is. A very cold planet."

Padmé didn't know too much about it. She could recall something happening there during the Clone Wars, but a lot had happened on many planets during the war. But, with that which he had offered up, Padmé responded in kind. "I was born on Naboo. Neither too hot or too cold."
