Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!
5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
no subject
While she knew there was a possibility of him coming to the islands, she never believed the day would actually arrive. He thankfully hadn't seen her. She was surrounded by children, having come to play with the orphans of White Willow Village, allowing her a measure of privacy and distraction.
After several days of debating on what she should do, she mustered the last of her courage and prepared herself to face her husband, strong and composed as she often made herself appear. "Tommen?" She called softly, approaching him as he was leaving his home.

Swallowing hard, he turned towards the voice and stared, his mouth falling open for far longer than he'd have liked. Finally he released his doublet and stepped forward a few paces, then stopped again.
"M-Mar..." he stammered, then cleared his throat and tried again, "Margaery? But you're..."
Dead.

She had been imprisoned, as had her brother, because Tommen was tender hearted. Yet...how could she expect or want anything else in him? That tenderness was what made him a better person than either Joffery, Cersei or even Margaery. It was unfair to try and remove that innocence.
"I am, I did in our world." Gods, but it was hard to explain. "This place is different. It is capable of pulling us from death."
no subject
Margaery's explanation of how this world could take you from death made his mind reel at the implications of it all, but he had to admit to himself that she wasn't lying. They were both here, and they were both alive.
Tommen fidgeted with his hands nervously, and then gave her a weak smile. "That's...good. This place seemed too nice to be one of the Seven Hells."
no subject
He could be a better man, but only away from his mother's influence and the cruel world of Westeros. It was a blessing that he was here. While his presence might bring her confusion, he would be able to find himself.
"It isn't Hell," she said gently. "Simply another world. Are you well? Did you just arrive?"
no subject
Tommen cleared his throat and took a few more steps closer to her. "I don't really know. I've been here a couple days, but I'm still coming to grips with what happened. I mean...what happened...before I came here."
no subject
"It will take time to process." She told him gently, trying to reassure him while sparing herself from the actual emotions it evoked. "Have you been here alone all of this time?"
no subject
"Y..yes," he replied quietly, "Well, sort of. You see, when I got here, Ser Pounce was in my cabin. So, I guess, not totally alone."
Cats weren't very talkative companions, but Tommen hadn't really wanted to do much talking at first.
