Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Julia - Cowboy Bebop

1.

One thing out of several that she can say about this place is that it isn't Mars. It isn't Venus although there are islands. It isn't even Castillo. It isn't like any place that she has been to before in her time on the run. A shame that there isn't a name to the place. At least not that she has found. Despite that mystery the slender blonde walks towards the market area. Despite the unknown name and other mysteries, one thing is certain that she has to eat.

She browses the selection of fruit at a stand.

Eiji's at the same stand, picking up a couple of pears and a small package of berries.

"Okay, those should last until the pears soften up. So what else?"

He doesn't notice, though, that one of the pears doesn't quite make it into his shopping basket and starts rolling away toward Julia.

Julia's gaze are on some apples on display. However when she feels something at her foot, she glances down and notices the pear. Without a thought, she reaches down and grabs it looking around for its place. Pears are good and all but she has a preference.

As she starts to walk towards its area, she notices the stranger with various fruits, some pears.

"Excuse me, is this yours?" she asks holding out the fruit. It never did hurt to ask.

"Huh?"

Eiji looked in confusion at the pear before looking down in his basket--yep, he's one short.

"Thanks. Sorry about that--I should have been paying more attention, I guess."

"It happens," she says coolly. "Don't mention it." It's her way of saying "you're welcome". She can't help but look over at his basket. "So you're a pear and berry man, huh?"

"Kind of? I'm shopping for my friend too, since we share a house. He's kind of a picky eater, and I need something that I know he's going to like."

It's hard explaining his life and his friends to other people sometimes.

Cassidy was also at the market. The plain looking redhead was considering the fruit, a basket on her arm. Life without Craft was not as hard as she might have expected, but it could be awkward sometimes, and she was not used to having to physically carry a basket to pick produce. She winced and turned to apologize when it came too close to striking the other woman.

"I'm sorry, sister," she said.

Julia looked over at the red head, maybe she herself should have been paying more attention having been lost in her thoughts as to what to choose.

It wasn't everyday she heard the term "sister". She thought it a bit strange but was polite. "It's alright," she said looking at the woman. "Partly my fault." she added. "What fruits would you recommend?" she asked wondering if the woman was a local.

"If they had them, I'd say honey pears," she said, a bit wistfully. "but failing that, the cherries here are very good, and the apples have been delicious this season."

Produce she could discuss, and happily. She knew quite a bit about plants, and she enjoyed cooking. Of course, that made her seem like less in the eyes of some of her people, and her self esteem ran low because of it, some days. But here she was settling in, pushing the old wounds down as best she could.

Julia had never really tried honey pears before. They weren't the sort of fruit that tended to be grown on Mars at least not that she could find.

"Honey pears, huh? Never heard of those before." she admitted before eyeing some berries.

"Are you a local?"

"No, I've just been here a few months. And no one seems to know what honey pears are," she admitted, a little reluctantly. "But I keep looking. The trees we have at the residence won't be old enough to bear fruit for years yet." She really hoped she wouldn't be here that long.
