Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Really this was like some kind of a beautiful gift, although Lianvis was dismayed the Listeners and Seers of the Kakkahaar hadn't caught wind of anything. His hair, long in Kakkahaar fashion, pooled down at his feet, his fingers and arms adorned like the perverted little magpie he was. Like Cobweb he could taste the magic in the air, feel it crackle, subtly. And so many humans. He could do a lot of work with so many participants.

And if he was lucky, the Hegemony would never find out. Life was good.

"Cobweb, as beautiful as always. You are a sight to behold. Now, don't tell me a few humans make you uncomfortable?" They were tools, couldn't you see that? Purely utilitarian. Think of how much power he could raise with all this humans here. The thought was exquisite. Shame there were a limited number of children though.

Kakkahaar spy was the first thought on seeing the har in front of him and his eyes flash with anger for a moment before he can control himself--though it does take a moment or two and a few deep breaths. Not the har he'd expected to see here. How much longer could he contain himself, then? And how long until human blood wasn't enough?

At least he stood his ground. He wasn't supposed to be a Varr anymore.

"Lianvis. Is your own hole not good enough?"

It surely wouldn't take that long. Just because the Kakkahaar promised to curb their more beastly practices doesn't mean they've done away with them all together. They've just learned to be more careful about who was watching. Gelaming ears were everywhere, and they didn't want to jeopardize their seat on the Council of Tribes. Lianvis knew what the Gelaming did to Tribes that didn't submit. He saw what happened to the Varrs.

"I was lonely without such beautiful company as yourself. Surely you don't mind if I join you? Such a night, with such power in the air." He gave the other har a beastly grin. "We could always crack open a human and see whats going on?"

His eyes narrowed at the flattery, but he bristled at the thought of his company. And what that would likely mean. Even the thought was enough to put him on edge and make him nauseous. He would not like any activity Lianvis chose, he was certain--and maybe determined--of that.

"I will have no part in blood." Was there even any har here he could hide behind, who he could tell at least to keep himself protected? He had his own magic, but his own doubts about withstanding the darkness Lianvis could raise with spilled life.

"Make your sacrifices elsewhere and without me."

Nonsense Cobweb, give him a chance. Even Calanthe likes him now, although he was unsure if Lianvis had changed or he had. Lianvis laughed, always ever so gracious and good humored, when he wasn't killing humans and hara alike.

Giving an extravagant sigh, Lianvis never let the smile leave his face. "Very well, you're tying my hands you know."

No, Lianvis would no doubt get bored very quickly. With the dilemma here to occupy his mind, he desperately wanted to find out what made it tick. He could only skirt the issue of blood and power for so long before he needed it in order to ascend to the next level. Still, he'd agreed on behalf of his tribe to curb their more....beastly practices. And the Gelaming needed their support, as well as their information. It was mutually beneficial. But here? With no Gelaming support or watcher? Hara and humans alike might be in trouble.

"I'd rather be with you. I've heard quite a lot about you."

Of course he would. Cobweb had heard more than a few things about him, too, though. None of it was very pleasant, but he suspected that most news about Lianvis wasn't very pleasant. But really, Terzian hadn't been any better except that in Forever, at least, he pretended he was civilized.

He was tempted for half a moment to just leave, but Lianvis would follow and in such a strange place surrounded by so many humans there was really no telling what would happen to him. And even if the company was human, he didn't want ot be left alone with that har.
