Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Oi! Scottish. She's just.... spent too much time in Leadworth, thanks. She crossed her arms sizing him up. Liked the ginger hair, he was alright. But she was quite thoroughly married, thank you. And it was going to take a bit more than a nice accent and red hair to turn this woman's heart. She loved her stupid centaurian.

"I don't remember you, so going to guess no. Is that a standard pick up line for you, or are you looking for a different answer?" she asked, a brow raised. Of course, he life was filled with people she remembered that no one else did, or people she forgot but needed to recall, so it was always possible. Of course, Big Bang Two was supposed to have stopped that from happening, but time with the Doctor had taught her that what was supposed to happen rarely was what actually happened.

Well, from the bit he's just heard of her, English. Now that's she's talking more he can pick up the Scottishness. He grinned disarmingly at her.

"You called out my name, so I thought you knew me." There is no interest in picking her up, at least currently. She is rather nice looking (and Scottish, which is much better than English) though the red hair tends to remind him a bit too much of family, at least it's not McCallum red.

"Called out your name?" she asked, frowning at him. Then she came to the obvious - and wrong - conclusion. After all, she had seen what regeneration looked like on someone else, she knew the theory behind it...

"Doctor? What have you done to yourself?" she considered, then grinned a bit. "Well, better than the bow-tie at least."

And thinking this was some other regeneration of the Doctor's she stepped forward to hug him.

Normally, Rory wouldn't have any problems with a pretty girl wanting to hug him, he thought himself to be fairly huggable - he just liked to know the person a little bit more than you said my name. Even a few minutes of conversation would be nice. Unless he was trying to kill them, but that was another matter all together. Also he saw her wedding ring. Letting a strange, married woman hug him was not a smart idea in his book.

Which is why he very politely and agilely stepped out of the way of her hug with his hands up. "Doctor? I'm not a doctor," he said. "I'm Rory."

And that stopped her. She almost stumbled.

"No. You're not. Rory is human. Well, plastic sometimes, but mostly human. He can't regenerate. You can't be Rory."

Can't be. Nope. No. Not buying it. No way. Where was Rory, and who thought this was a funny joke? She was halfway to very cross and ready to threaten someone with whatever she could find laying around.

"... I am human." Plastic sometimes? What the fuck? What sort of crazy world did she come from? "And my name is Rory. Rory McCallum."

Well, there's a good reason why not to buy it. She's got the wrong Rory.

She blinked, then she had a moment, you could almost see it on her face, where she realized that..."oh yeah, multiple people can have the same name".... Whoops.

"Right, well I was calling for Rory Pond." Williams. Pond. Whatever. "So... clearly I wasn't calling for you, now was I?"

Sorry, Amy doesn't really apologize. Not much.

"So, where am I, and how did I get here?" And what was she going to call this person? No way in any universe she was calling him Rory. Oh, she could do like the Doctor did, then, call him by his last name. Bit of a mouthful, but she could work with it.

"Ah. I'm sorry. I don't know anyone of that name." No. Clearly she wasn't calling after him. And there's nothing wrong with calling him Rory. He's never really gone by any other name. Well, he's gone by "McCallum' when he's not surrounded by family. Thirteen kids plus others makes calling him McCallum doesn't really help. Red?

"You're on Medietas. I have no idea how you got here. No one really does." There's an apologetic look now.

"Is the Doctor here? Or a woman, she goes by the name River Song."

Because if anyone dragged her out of a fixed point, it had to be one of those two. Right? Because if it was Kovarian, she was going to actually kill someone in a timeline that wasn't going to be reset, and she wasn't quite sure how she felt about that. But there was no way she was letting that woman interfere with her family again.

"Ah. Not that I know of? But there are a lot of people here, so there could be," he said, apologetically. While he knows there are doctors around he's not heard of someone calling themselves the Doctor. "There's the clinic? Maybe your doctor friend is there?"

"Usually a thing like this happens, there's a box somewhere. A big blue box. Says police. Still not sure why. Have you seen it?" she asked. If she could find that, she'd find the Doctor. And if somehow she was here without the Doctor, River, or her Rory... things were going to get complicated....
