Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Must be some ice cream... Raven thought to herself, but didn't voice it out loud. "I take it traffic laws don't exist?" Still with that same dry-tone, but she finally moved to shake the others hand.

It wasn't hard for her to tell she found Raven creepy. Raven was aware that most people found her creepy. Combine that with 'almost running her down' and Raven was trying to be reassuring.

The vote of confidence was appreciated, but Trunks was a bit busy. Trying to keep track of where the arrows were flying, and then moving to follow up where they hit with a short volley of ki blasts. Then he's having to duck another serpentine head and neck, floating lower down and twisting away.

"Any other ideas?" Yelled to the archer, as she seemed like she had better ideas than he did.

Consider them excused

A blink of blue eyes, and one eyebrow raising but he's keeping his eye on the statues at least. "Not so much changing as they're....humming? There's a hum coming from them. And they seemed like the changed size."

Although that could've just been a trick of angles due to his being preoccupied by figuring out the humming.

Well, Trunks wasn't one to object to more help, considering he was brand new here and this had happened quickly. Any greeting in turn though would have to wait, as the Hydra decided it would be good to dart one of their heads out and try and bite them. A diving roll to the side, and crouching. Several short blasts of ki fired, watching for some kind of weakspot.

"Any ideas?" Called to the other fighter.

"Not a problem. I'm trying to keep new people appraised of the situation. It makes it easier with hero coordination and all." replied All Might as he passed over another book.

"This is a generalized map of the area if you need that. It's a little more convenient than the map they gave us originally."

"Stand your ground," offered All Might, gauging the hydra.

It was small fry at best, but All Might had more experience fighting villains than actual monsters. Its thick sinewy body was similar to the Noumo, but right now, he had at least thirty minutes before his body gave out.

"Only thing I can do right now... Is to knock it clean out!"

And he launched himself at blinding speed, bringing his arm down in a knockout move at one of the heads. "NORTH CAROLINA SMASH!"

Knocking out the heads would be good if he can do it. Then again, Trunks had no reason currently to think the other could or couldn't. If it worked...

Trunks could probably help with that--and if they teamed up they could get through this faster. A split-second as he paused, powering up to the super-saiyan state, before targeting the same head. He had no fancy battle cry, but he flickered from view to reappear, and bring a double-handed hammer-fist down a second behind the other man's.

Raven took the other offered book, and if she were anyone else, she'd smile. "Then by all means, appraise me. Give me a briefing, if you prefer to think of it that way."

Sharp teeth flashed as All Might swung with another internally yelled Smash as he broke through the teeth of the attacking head. It reeled and collapsed, as All Might grabbed a second by the jaws as it lunged.

"You're big, and ugly, but the Symbol of Peace won't go down so EASILY!"

And he wound up and invoked One For All as he swung. "TEXAS SMASH!"

The resulting shockwave slammed into the monster as it keened, but All Might held it fast, so it wouldn't escape and attack other people. And then, sharply, the air pressure changed as as miniature tornado ripped from All Might's fist, the powerful punch rustling trees and spiraling into the sky.

Hmm... she seemed battle ready somehow, aware of her senses. The request for a briefing, rather than an explanation indicated she was a hero in training, or maybe a fully fledged one.

"Very well!"

Putting some boom into his usually reedy voice, All Might proclaimed, "We are here, on Medietas, a collection of islands that were in the sky until previously! Each one of them have a theme, possibly from the collection of locations they were taken from as attributed to the large crater in the shape of one of the islands."

Raven listened, and then was silent for a few more seconds--considering what questions to ask. "Do we know what was holding the islands up before?" Since it'd been mentioned they'd been floating. "and what do you mean by the large crater in the shape of one of them?"

"I assume technology or magic," replied All Might. "There's said to be a curious energy from the statues here in the towns, so it might be the source of the levitation."

"As for the crater, it is on the mainland just to the north. It seems like the place has been lifted right from it."

Raven would make a note to investigate that crater, and the statues, later. "So what else can you tell me about this place?" Because this was so much more helpful so far than the vague answers she'd gotten otherwise.

A pause, and then a slight relaxing of her shoulders under her cloak. "You're correct--I just arrived, and the vague answers they gave me weren't exactly helpful." Another pause, then more quietly. "I'm Raven."

Maybe this guy had it under control then--as Trunks wove and dodged serpentine head and the grab by the other man. Floating a few feet away, letting his aura flare to keep him steady as the tornado's wind rustled trees and into the sky. Studying things for a moment, then nodding to himself.

"Just keep a good hold on it!" Green-eyes narrowed while Trunks called, hoping the other would listen. Charging back in, golden aura flaring around him and he focused on speed and power. Power, to hit the heads hard and knock them out with solid punches, and speed to move fast between them. Better to finish this fast after all.

Lady Artemis and Thalia aren't going to be happy about this... [The girl who murmurs this as she steps off the boat looks to be about 12; that, however, is deceiving because she's actually more closer to somewhere between 13 and 14. Or over 80, if you go by years. Let's just say between eternal youth and time shenanigans, it's complicated. She's wearing a silver jacket with her dark hair held in a braid and a backpack slung over her shoulders, gripping the straps as she looks around in uncertainty. Then she steels herself, taking in a breath and letting it out before setting off with a more determined look. There has to be a way out of of here somehow...

You can find her wandering around just about anywhere, exploring the new area.]

[Wandering could basically just be called Annabeth's new hobby now. Thanks, Will. She'd become an expert in how long she had to be out of the house before he'd let her back in. Inevitably it meant wandering toward the docks to see if anyone she knew had shown up yet--she was still holding out that maybe Percy would come back, but she knew better than to get her hopes up. Still, it couldn't hurt to check right?

Aaaaaaaaand nope. That's not possible. She's officially going crazy.]

Bianca?

"Lets see... it pulls people from different worlds, and seems to be ruled by a governing body, although getting access to the palace seems impossible right now." Said All Might with a shake of his head.

"Vague answers usually aren't, but I'd imagine whoever got them to make the spiel has a interesting story behind it."

He nodded. "Toshi. Nice to meet you."

It was good that Trunks was so fast, All Might was beginning to buckle a little, but each blow was definitely helping ease the strain of holding the monster down.

Steam began hissing from his body as All Might trembled against the Hydra, but soon Trunks' work was doing its job. "Just a few more minutes," he grunted for a moment.

[Will was passing by the docks on his way back from the clinic. It'd had been a good day, but most days here were good. No one got limbs cut off, no one died--and even if they did they apparently came back to life in a few hours--so mainly what he'd been treating her cuts and bruises, injuries from the Mean Princess or illnesses. Although the recent pregnancy breakout had him wanting to go around and hand out condoms. So, he's not really paying attention when he's looking around, and wait, was that--no. No. Totally wasn't. Will stopped anyway. He'd taken his comm device and was this close to texting Nico and asking him when his dead sister came back to life when he thought he had better stop and check first.]

Bianca?

[Bianca's eyes lit up in recognition when she sees Annabeth, making her way towards her.] Annabeth! You're here too? What's going on?

[Bianca stops and looks over when she hears someone call her name, eyes lighting up when she spots the other demigod.] Will! Is Nico around here too?

Yeah. Uh. It's a long story. And I'm not entirely sure I'm not crazy. [How is she even supposed to deal with this?]

Does Nico know you're here?

[So that was Bianca. Weird. Good, but weird. Usually dead people stayed dead. Although, maybe not here? He had to tread carefully, or else that would be an awkward conversation. One best probably handled by Nico.]

He is! Did you just get here?

[Was it him or did that sound awkward? He was trying so hard, but you were really, really dead.]

Um. Just so you know, Nico's probably a little older than you remember. So, don't freak out.

[It had been years since Nico last saw his sister, since he finally had to accept that she was gone for good. And so when he sees her now, here, he freezes. She can't be here, she can't be alive ... and yet she is.

All he can do is stare.]
