Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"I'm not that bad, alright! I just found it!" Yuzu said, a little huffy. But, yeah, go ahead and show her everything.

Okay that was kinda amusing. No wonder Yuya liked her.

Tabbing the system on, he started walking her through the operating system, slowly from the auto pilot to the auto-pathing system.

And as Jack walked her through everything, Yuzu watched intently, a little awed over everything.

"Wow... and here I thought Action Duels had a lot going for it!"

"Unlike your Action Duels, the technology we use in a D-Wheel is compressed, more mobile. We sacrifice flashy duels for speed and thrills, but also a medium of safety."

Jack tabbed the system to Duel Mode and pointed out the system. "It can create a localized Action Field as well, but the range moves with us, and not anyone else."

Yuzu opened her mouth to retort, only to close it again. He did have a point about the idea of having safety. How many times has she came close to dying because of getting caught up in a Duel?

"Wow..." she could only muster.

"There's plenty of failsafes in case we crash. It won't prevent full damage, but blunt it for the most part."

Considering their high intensity, high risk lifestyle, kids these days were a lot more durable than expected.

Depends. Got anything worth answering?

"Because you mention that place all the time." It's surprisingly non-sarcastic though the tired tone of voice probably explains it all.

[She counts in her head.]

Whoa, we hit ten!

And I'd think getting an opinion from someone who has been here awhile, pretty worthwhile to have answered.

[An exasperated sigh.]

About this place and what the hell is going on? I'm new, you're not. I'd like to have some semblance of balance here.

The islands floated. Now they don't.

Wow, so informative! That's totally going to help me. How would I survive without you?

"While that is true, I never thought you listened." Ziggy was sure that most people tuned him out. Sometimes they didn't even try to hide it and they'd just turn and walk away.

You'd fall off.

"I don't," he smirks, "but stuff sticks."

"Ouch. But!" He exclaimed with a bright smile. "That means if I say something enough you'll listen!"

Always a bright side.

2. Islands

Sometimes All Might needed some time off, and today was one of those days. He was planning on visiting the clinic to see if there was a doctor on staff that could help with his chronic pain and aches from the injury he had sustained five years ago. Just thinking about it though made him grip the wound a little with a grimace. But it had to be done. If anyone asked, All Might was a fantastic liar.

That being said, the shrimpy little man with the sunken face and eyes was wandering through the islands, looking for things to do, people to see and otherwise locate his target. It was a bright, sunny day and the clouds had parted. The mainland was in the distance. In his condition, he could make the jump in two, maybe three bounds.

"You're getting old," he murmured to himself. "Back in the heyday I could clear these whole islands in a single bound."

Still, he journeyed through the market towards the closet clinic.


4. Trouble

The running and screaming wasn't an unheard of thing, considering that such a beast had arose from the depths of the lake. Monsters weren't unheard of, sometimes it was a result of someone with a peculiar Quirk. Other times, it was just because of some kind of change that provoked it. Either way, All Might was carefully picking his way through the panicked beachgoers, making sure they didn't get into trouble.

Then, the sound hit him. The sound of a crying child. His chest tightened, and all thoughts of letting the other heroes handle this was foregone. With effort, he flexed, and soon, the massive man stood over the crowd as he leaped over the crowd.

The hydra was ready to make a meal of a citizen when he came in, grabbing the lunging head with both hands. "Don't worry little miss!" He proclaimed grandly. "For I AM HERE!"

Slamming the head into the ground, All Might launched himself at the monster and proclaimed, "TEXAS SMASH!"

The resulting shockwave buffered the islands, sending waves of water through the lake as the Hydra was slammed backwards with considerable force. In one arm, he held the girl as his never-ending smile flashed in the light.

The Hydra, sufficiently chastized by the hero, growled but otherwise began to sink into the water. No one noticed that one of the teeth had managed to cut into All Might's weakened state, and he was bleeding from his shoulder.


5. Wild Card - Clinic/Outside

The recent bout with the Hydra, however brief it had been, took a lot out of All Might as he stumbled towards the nearby clinic. He spat up a splash of blood, and wiped it with his hand. "You really outdid it this time," he grumbled to himself as he knocked on the door.

"Hey, hey! Anyone in there? I kinda need help here."

The now shrimpy man coughed up again, and blood splattered on the ground once more.

"..." Damn, he knew there was a reason he never mentioned that before.

Ziggy bounded next to Dillon, his step excited and eager as they headed to get food.

"Oh, hey, How do we pay for stuff here?" It's sort of important.

1. Getting Started - Chapter Six Bookstore

BOOKS! While Sunset didn't have quite as a fixation on them, it was definitely appreciated. The smell of musty tomes, the filtered light from the storefront into the deep recesses of a bookstore with hidden gems. Ah, it was paradise. And here was Sunset, looking through several books, flipping through a couple before placing them into her basket. There was plenty for her to read up on, and this store had a lot of things in place. "Wow, I didn't notice this was here..."

"It was under E," laughed Sunset as she placed it into her basket as well.


3. Party!

While it wasn't a Pinkie Party, Sunset was definitely more comfortable in the revelry. There was plenty to see, and lots to do as she mingled with the people who were hosting it. Her vibrant colors stood out in the sea of skin colors, and she was dressed in a pretty green outfit that set off well against her orange skin and bright hair.

Taking a cup of punch, she sniffed it for a moment, her nose faintly noting the level of alcohol in the liquid. "Well, that's not bad," she murmured, sipping it.

Whoever decided she was too old for the children's housing chose well, since Sunset still felt much older than most of her peers, despite her youthful enthusiasm.


5. Wild Card - Music

Sunset had picked up an amp and had plugged in her guitar. She hadn't gotten a job yet, and wanted to reclaim something along the lines of her sushi cart, but for now, she was busking. So, she started to strum a popular song from her world, drawing a crowd and earning some coins. Maybe come watch?

"Oh, let me see!"

And there was Twilight -- the Twilight more scientifically-inclined, not the princess -- zipping up to Sunset, a large stack of books in her arms. There was still so much she had to learn and having Sunset around with her was a major boon. The book she had was certainly a great curiosity, though, especially with what was written.

"'Elements of Harmony'?"

"Yeah, it's a reference guide to the six Elements of Harmony that are from Equestria. There's not much that I don't already know, but I can get it so that you can read it over." Replied Sunset as she opened the book and gestured to it.

"This one seems like it's updated though, more recently than before. It's talking about a magic tree where the Elements came from."
